Cukiernia — Restaurant in Lviv Urban Hromada

Had dinner here yesterday. Was surprised with low level of service, for that pricing and level of restaurant service is super poor. We waited too long for server to come, if you want something you need to wait for server long again even though it was only 3 tables with people there. They offer bread with 3 kinds of butter, butter was super hard so you can’t spread it and bread wasn’t that fresh. 2 main dishes didn’t surprise us at all, but considering that price it definitely should be much better. I ordered Porto, and they served it in wrong glass, didn’t ask which kind I wanted, just brought more expensive one, moreover I asked for 100ml more and they poured it in my old glass without even changing it. When I asked for a bill, waitress grabbed my card and taped it on her own without letting me give her any tip, but to be honest for that service and food, tips wouldn’t be big.However desserts was really good but it’s obvious because of the bakery downstairs. Despite the fact that this place is still nice and cosy and seems to be (still) famous for local deserts, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the pastry I bought there recently. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter’s party and the customer service as well as the actual decoration of the cake (Ptashyne Moloko) were very good. But the cake itself, total disappointment: chocolate cake was overcooked and tasteless, the cream fat and lacked any taste … for a place with this reputation and for this price (clearly European prices) the place is overpriced … hope the owners will take this into account and improve the quality by being more rigorous...

This amazing place has been ruined by an out of touch interior designer with delusions of grandeur, how this person can call himself an interior designer or whatever is confusing...
