Ventured into the whimsical wonderland that is the Unicorn Cafe, lured by the promise of magic and rainbow delights. Brace yourselves – it was like entering a unicorn-themed rollercoaster of disappointment. 🦄✨ The place seemed to have absorbed a bit too much unicorn magic, leaving it looking more worn-out than a fairy tale paperback missing a few pages.

Picture this: a menu with secrets hidden behind taped-off pages, making it the foodie equivalent of a mystical treasure hunt. Sadly, the rainbow crepe rolls, the majestic rainbow crepe cake, and the enchanting rainbow fries were nowhere to be found – apparently, they were off gallivanting in some alternate universe.

Opting for a unicorn green tea latte seemed like the last glimmer of hope. Alas, the whipped cream, instead of a vibrant rainbow, sported a more modest shade of pink. Perhaps they decided it's easier to be a one-color wonder than attempt a whipped cream masterpiece. To add a touch of magic, they whisked my green tea away to another dimension (or just another room) for a microwave magic show.

The taste? Well, let's just say it was as enchanting as a budget fairy godmother's attempt at spellcasting – meh. The disappointment crescendoed when the realization hit that my dreams of ordering whimsical wonders from the menu were shattered.

The furniture, like a fairy tale castle in dire need of a renovation, added a touch of rustic charm. The background music seemed like it wandered in from a different enchanted forest, completely missing the unicorn vibe memo.

They do offer unicorn onesies for sale or rent – a tempting prospect for a legendary photo op. However, peering inside, the magic fizzled, and the allure of a mediocre picture op vanished like a puff of unicorn smoke.

Verdict: Save your quest for magical moments elsewhere. Unicorn Cafe, you're more like a unicorn gone rogue than a magical haven. 🌈❌...

I was looking forward to visiting the Unicorn Cafe in Bangkok even before I arrived! I saw their viral videos on Facebook, and all my friends were jealous about hearing I was going! On my very last day in Bangkok I was able to go!

I think it is the most Instagramable location in Bangkok... if that's a word. LOL. I think everything I ordered was cute and charming... and photographable from every angle.

The staff were... staff. But the location, vibe and cuteness of this place was an overload! I think they could even offer more and then they could then have even more success! Like instead of a generic unicorn pen... why not slap their logo on it so later I can show it off to all my friends at work!?

Food was tasty! No complaints. We didn't wait but a minute for a table. I didn't know this till my cab was driving off, but there's actually a second small shop location literally on the same block around the corner. So if you see this in time, be sure to go into that one too!!!

I bought as much food Rainbow themed as possible. I'm glad I did. I went there for the experince that you just can't get anywhere else!!!!!

I'm glad I did it. I had fun! And I will always remember my fun time at the...

Unicorn Café is one of those quirky, themed spots in Bangkok that really stands out. Located at Sathon 8 Alley, Silom, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, it’s a pastel-coloured dreamland filled with unicorn toys, rainbow décor, and plenty of fun photo opportunities.

The café opens from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily (closed in the mornings), so it’s perfect for a midday treat or a colourful afternoon stop. We visited in the early evening and were the only ones there the entire time.

The menu is full of bright, whimsical treats. Kids and anyone young at heart will love it, and it’s especially fun if you’re looking for a unique café experience that feels straight out of a fairytale. Bear in mind that some items might sell out - the candy floss wasn't available during our visit and it was one of the only things my child with a food allergy could eat.

It can get busy on weekends, so arriving early in the day is a good idea. While it’s more about the atmosphere than gourmet coffee, it’s a cheerful place to relax, take photos, and enjoy something sweet in a magical setting. My daughter particularly enjoyed being able to snuggle unicorns while she waited for her...

When you first walk in, you're greeted by an interior that looks like a unicorn puked rainbows and pink all over everything. Unicorn statues, plushies, wallpaper and flooring, it's all so pink and adorable! The furniture is plush and cute, with large vintage style couches and chairs. The excitement quickly fades when you see all the dirt and stains the decor has accumulated though. The floor has the same design as the wallpaper and it's quickly fading away under all the dirt that hasn't been cleaned off of it for a long time. The washroom is tiny and only allows one customer to use it at a time. The onesies you can wear look worn and dirty. The plushies are turning grey from being touched and sat on by customers. The menu items are cute but overpriced, with the drinks being too sweet or too big to finish. The food portions were smaller than I thought. The adorable pink façade of the Unicorn Café quickly fades when you see how poorly kept the place is. I would say it's still worth going for the experience and ordering some food or dessert for pictures but otherwise I don't think I would come back again.
