Updates - Aug 19, 2025. Still 5* food & service, nice cozy space. Glad to see they are still delicious worth a visit!

Update - finally tried their Thai sour soup (keng som) & it’s very good, not watered down at all. Def a must try if you like tom yum soup, this is more intense & spicy (it’s predominantly spicy, then sweet & sour). I think you can have it either with fish or shrimp. I would not suggest this soup as a main entree for anyone who doesn’t enjoy at least an 8 level of spicy on scale of 1-10.

Update - Aug 21, 2023: still solid 5 stars, staff, space & GREAT tasting Thai food! Come for lunch or dinner, menu is the same:) Keep up the good work! Reservation recommended for dinner because they are often busy after 5:30 PM!

Initial review - 5 stars for staff, atmosphere & definitely food! Word has gotten out and this place was filled even on Monday dinner service! Be sure to call ahead for reservations, especially if you’re coming with 4 or more :) Menu has many dishes we wanted to try and will be back! You can get “set menu” (main dish, soup & rice), or order a la carte and share family style. The soft shell crab in garlic, salt & pepper/chili was so good and never had anything like it (spicy! Don’t eat too much of it at once, try a little first). The shrimp in tamarind sauce was good too. Prices are reasonable, dishes range from about 150-300bht. Definitely a must try - it made me think of what Anna Cafe on Sala Daeng (some +15 years ago) used to be for ambience, service and food! I’m coming back tomorrow night actually & will add more pics!...

Nestled in the backstreet of Sathon I stumbled upon this gem pulsating with vibrant energy. Stepping inside, you're instantly swept up in an atmosphere that crackles with excitement.

LonLon isn't your average dining spot; it's a sanctuary of cool. The ambiance effortlessly blends modern chic with laid-back vibes, creating the ultimate backdrop for a casual hangout or a lively catch-up session with friends. Picture sleek decor, cozy nooks, and an overall vibe that's as chill as it is inviting.

But what really sets LonLon apart? It's the squad behind the scenes – a crew of upbeat, knowledgeable folks who are more like culinary wizards than mere servers. Their passion for great food is infectious, and they're ready with top-notch recommendations that never disappoint.

Now, let's talk grub. LonLon menu is a playground of flavors for all. From melt-in-your-mouth tofu to flavor-packed delights, each dish tantalizes the taste buds. And the presentation? Picture-perfect, making it a go-to spot for foodies and Instagram aficionados alike. And here's the kicker – despite the high-quality fare, they keep it real with prices. I opted for the chili jam tofu and cashew set menu, it was a flavor explosion. Washed down with a refreshing passion fruit soda (recommend).

So, if you're on the hunt for a little buzz and laid back energy that's as cool as it is delicious, look no further than LonLon . Whether you're craving comfort food or just vibing with friends, LonLon promises an electric atmosphere and unforgettable flavors that'll keep you coming back for more.

Well, has been recommended to try this place out and have mixed feelings: just bad or very bad this 2 stars. Little background: I am visitor and don’t speak any Thai. The location is not promising at all - backyard of condominium, little trashy path, but still reachable by walk from most of the locations in Silom. I have arrived alone, around 18-00 on week day, and got a nice table with the view. It was not so busy at that time. The menu seems to be inspired a lot by street food, and frankly speaking the patrons who were there and arrived later, all reminded of people working at the street market or around. I have ordered house version Margarita, some soda, soup as starter and main set suggested by menu. Waiter did ask how I want my soup: spicy or not. My answer was: Not spicy please. No questions asked about main. Margarita and starter arrived simultaneously shortly after and were good. Margarita was excellent. So I was looking forward to my main which consisted of salad and fish + rise. Table was cleaned and main arrived after some time. I started with salad and, well, that was the last thing. It was super spicy and for me uneatable. As well as I could not taste any fish afterwards because of the burn of salad. So no main for me. No follow up from waiters whatsoever. When asked if I can pay by card the answer is yes. When waiter sees my rainbow-themed card, he tells they don’t...

They’re just plain simply and solid goodnees! I just cant figured out if there’s anything wrong at all. The place is very cozy and chillax. Stylishly decor, chic vibe, yet not very pretentious (at least for me). Their place is in the heart of Sathorn/Silom area, in the central of CBD, So expect some crowd. This is not the first time that I’ve been here, but more likely first time that I wrote the review. Food are all well done. Serving in a not-too-large portion, so you get to taste many dishes as you want! And believe me there’re so many thing on their menu that makes you want to eat them all! Tho said portion will make the price point a tad bit on the upper scale. Most food here are simple streetfood-like Asian/Thai/Chinese. Kinda like a more upscale version of the boiled rice place in front of every Soi in Bangkok. And indeed, many of the dishes here are better when you eat them with boiled rice. Everything taste very home-y and delicious! And this is like a staple place that we can keep coming back when we’re really craving for comfort food. I’d definitely coming back for more.
