China Restaurant — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

It’s been a few weeks since my visit, but I still can’t forget my experience, Dining at China Restaurant on Hamdan Street, Abu Dhabi, was an experience I’ll never forget. I went there with my event colleagues for dinner. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like I was transported to China—the restaurant was filled with Chinese people, creating an authentic and lively atmosphere that I absolutely loved. I’ve always admired China and its culture, and this experience made me feel even more connected to it. It made me realize what I’ve been missing out on, and for a moment, I wished I could live this kind of experience every day instead of looking back with regrets.

The food was exceptional. I had a big bowl of tofu and vegetable soup, Jit-Jan sauce chicken (crispy and full of flavor), egg fried rice, and some noodles and beef dishes—though I can’t recall their names, every bite was incredible. And to top it off, I had my first experience using chopsticks, which made it even more special.

One of the best and authentic Chinese restaurants I have been to in Abu Dhabi recently (actually Beijing restaurant on Salam street was my fav but it closed). Location wise not the best…it’s in Novel hotel next to a sleazy bar/club on second floor. However, ignore the location and do visit for the awesome food.

It’s clean and the ambiance is what one would find in Hong Kong. It’s the only restaurant where I saw many Chinese patrons…that must say something.

We had broccoli and mushrooms dish. The sauce was out of this world. I couldn’t help scraping the sauce off the plate.

We also had chicken dish and eggplant dish. The chicken dish was superb…. With sautéed onions and other delish things.

The veg fried rice was great too.

The price is a little bit on the high side…but hey, for food this good it is worth it. Believe me you won’t be...
