Hytes Bar — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

I visited here with my wife as we were staying in a hotel locally and decided to go out and look for a comfortable place to enjoy some food and drinks.

Hytes Bar did not disappoint.

The food: My wife had the seafood pasta. Delicious and well presented. I enjoyed the shawarma. It was very flavourful and filling, which I cannot complain about.

The service: My wife ordered a glass of wine, and because we were enjoying our second wedding anniversary, did not notice that they had brought the whole bottle for her. We felt obliged to pay for the bottle due to the server being so nice but it is a simple case of not focusing on what was ordered on the service end, this way only noticed by us because my wife wanted to enjoy another glass, but when we said it to the server, it was brushed off as we had ordered it originally. I definitely don't appreciate this as a hospitality professional but I can let it slide this time due to our occasion.

The food took over 25 minutes, not too bad, but still very long considering there was less than 8 people 8n the whole bar.

The price was good, not unreasonable.

Overall: The pricing was okay, the food was great, the service was friendly and attentive but for my overall impression and experience here, I'll be comfortable to give a 4 out of 5 rating because improvement is needed, but let me emphasise that it is slight.
