At about 4:15pm, I visited al rostamani to collect money, money gram. There were no receive forms so I walked up to the counter to ask one of the colleagues for a form. She was on her phone, on what's app. I waited for about 3mins infront of her. she lifted her head up and asked in a really harsh tone "what!!!". "You are out of money gram receiving forms. Can you please help print out one?" She stood up and left without saying a word. Few minutes later, she returned with 1 and dumped it Infront of me. I took it, filled it up and gave it to another lady since she dumped it and walked away. I asked the second lady. " what's your colleagues name please" she said " it's ok, I will assist you". I asked for her name again, she said " Aidal" or so I heard, and asked me why. I told her that I did not like the lady's tone, that I work in customer service too but I don't treat people that way. Since I did not really get the name, I asked again but she refused telling me. Her colleague ask to to respond to me. She said "Aidal". After collecting my money, I asked if the manager was on duty and she pointed at his office. I went to the manager and explained my experience, that I work in customer service too but that's not a way to treat a customer. That i overheard her arguing with her male colleague, infront of me customer she wanted to leave at 4:30pm but the male colleague was like, you cannot leave now, your shift ends at 5pm. I understand she wanted to go home, but she should not transfer her aggressions on me. The manager just pointed at a barcode, that I should scann and leave my comment. He did not show remorse on behalf of his employee or anything. I have never seen this level of unprofessionalism. Aidel has to be retrained on how to deal with customers and the manager has to retrained on how to deal with complaints. He could have fixed it there, as opposed to making me leave a...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with the service. My friend initiated a MoneyGram transaction before Ramadan, and it’s been over five weeks with no resolution. Initially, the excuse was “server issues.” Fair enough, tech problems happen. But after Ramadan, when they finally resumed the process, they suddenly needed a PIN to release the funds in India.
It’s now been three more days just to generate a simple PIN, and the latest excuse? “The servers are heating up.” Seriously? That’s the best you can do? Even a toddler could make up something more believable. This level of incompetence and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially when dealing with people’s hard-earned money.
If you're thinking of using this branch for money transfers — don’t. Save yourself the frustration.
At this point I think they are doing this just because...
