I booked a reservation for dinner with my friends in this restaurant and had a horrible experience. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were guided to our table but no one from the staff even bothered to offer us the menu. I even called them to assist but of them are standing and staring at me as if Im a ghost. Moving forward upon ordering we decided to use our Entertainer voucher to avail the discount. I spoke to one of the waiter and he told me I can avail it on tha day however i need to clarify few questions so as to understand the terms and conditions of the said offer. He told me he is not familiar so he redirect me to the cashier. When i spoke to the cashier as if he is so lazy to explain to me further so he told me to speak to one of the Kabayan staff so she can explain to me in my native language. She clearly mentioned that we can use 3 vouchers for our group.

Here comes the dilemma. Our friend decided surprised us our dinner and paid for everything. And is not aware of the offer. So we told her we mentioned to the waiter and cashier that we will use our entertainer. We called one of the staff and told us they cannot VOID the bill as there is an incident before but we still insisted to talk to the manager for that matter. She came back and said she sort out the situation so we expected that they will refund our money. But it took ages for them to update us so we called them to know what happened. Only to found out that they let us to wait for NOTHING. The supervisor did not even apologize and was very unprofessional and rude . She even raises her voice to us and did not even give us the options. So we insist to wait for the manager. But failed to meet him so. After a while the same lady came to me and immediately ask for my entertainer voucher code and said they will VOID the bill. They weren't consistent and honest for sure. All those times they treat us as if were dumb.

The food was expensive and servings were small. Staff were very rude and not accomdsting at all.i decide to give one star because of their live band which was entertaining after all.

Will definitely not come back there for sure. ☹ My first and last experience...

I would like to express my disappointment regarding the poor service my group and I experienced during our recent visit to your restaurant. We arrived at 11:30 PM, well within your operating hours, which we were informed are until 1:00 AM. We were told that the last order would be at 12:30 AM. However, when we tried to order additional drinks at 12:02 AM, the barista refused to serve us, claiming that a last call had already been made at 12:00. None of us heard any such announcement, and we believe it was either not clearly communicated or not made at all. This lack of proper communication was frustrating and unprofessional. In addition to that, since we were the last customers in the restaurant, the staff noticeably turned down the volume of both the music and the microphone so low that we could barely hear it—our normal conversation was louder than the mic. Most of the staff also appeared visibly annoyed, with only one person maintaining a pleasant attitude. It honestly felt like we were being rushed to leave, even though we had ordered properly and paid in full. This experience was very disappointing, especially because this was not our first time dining at your restaurant. We’ve enjoyed our past visits, but this time left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. We ended up just asking to have our food packed and left earlier than intended. I hope this message serves as constructive feedback and that appropriate actions will be taken to ensure better service and customer treatment in the future. Every guest who chooses to dine at your establishment deserves a welcoming atmosphere and respectful service, regardless...

Just wanted to share our very very very very frustrating and disappointing experience tonight.

Before we placed our orders, we've asked and confirmed to 3 employees including the supervisor that we will use an entertainer.

During the bill out, they billed us with the full amount.

When we raised our concern, the "supervisor" said that they CANNOT VOID our payment as they had several FRAUD CASES. Still, we explained our side that we will not accept it as we had informed 3 employees and even told the cashier that we will use an entertainer.

After a while, she said that IT WAS SORTED out so we waited. WE WAITED FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR AND NO ONE REVERT BACK TO US if we had not followed up regarding our concern only to be informed THAT IT CANNOT BE DONE and the supposed lady supervisor is very very rude when talking to us jus because we are Filipinos and wanted to use our entertainer.

But then we did not accept it and wanted to speak to the manager, and wated again for almost 30mins.

After a while, the manager came BUT DID NOT EVEN SPOKE TO US AND THEY HAD APPROVED OUR BILL TO BE VOIDED AND APPLY THE ENTERTAINER after almost 2 hours of waiting a denying that it can be voided.

Everything was settled then, but the most disappointibg part is we did not even receive an apology and was not treated politely.

Worst restaurant customer service ever. The supervisor is...

This is me and my friends favorite place whenever we crave for pork. This place will surely give you a Philippines vibe whenever you miss the home country. From the beers they’re serving (which is so Filipino – especially San Mig Light) to the foods – not to mention all the foods tastes so delicious and yummy. I remember coming here one time and there were 2 tables occupied only and there is a live acoustic – he sings all our requests and we even sing with him, he was so friendly and nice and really gave us a chill-vibes dinner. The staffs were so accommodating too and friendly. The fact that it’s kind of expensive but with the help of entertainer, we didn’t feel it much and we enjoy all the foods were craving – I love the sisig and crispy pata, even the bulalo served in palayok is so amazing. In addition, the place is near the corniche too, so after a great tummy full battle with the food, you can just cross the street and walk along the Corniche Area and get some fresh air and spend more time with whoever you are with. Furthermore, it is located at Al Ain Palace making it so elegant.

It’s truly the JUAN! Finally went here last week (Thursday,Oct 11) and yaassss!!! It is the place to be for food!! We didn’t know we needed reservations during weekends but thanks to the lovely staff they gave us a table 😊. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Our server was kuya Godwin, he’s accommodating, friendly and very helpful with our questions. Even he’s little bit occupied he’s still try to attend us time to time. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ evrything we ordered was yummylicious!!(evrything baboy)from dinuguan-Bicol express-Dinadakan and Ofcourse crispy pata!!! Well served hot!! Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️— it’s bit dimmed inside but it’s spacious and I like the vine-yard feeling of the bricks (thou it’s not really real 🙈) the place is so clean and organize, great place to drink and dine Value of Money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ never save for food and yes we don’t, this is the best Filipino (nonmuslim) food we can get in Middle East— and as compared to Dubai and Bahrain— it’s the best Filipino restaurant I’ve been so far in GCC 😊.

Kuya Juan Restaurant in Abu Dhabi boasts a menu that's a pork lover's paradise, paired with refreshing San Miguel beer. While the prices may be steep, the generous serving sizes make it worth the splurge. During our visit on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, offering a peaceful atmosphere. Amenities like separate restrooms for ladies and gents, along with free WiFi, added convenience. However, our dining experience was marred by the presence of numerous flies, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal. Despite the promise of daily live entertainment from 7 pm, the distraction of the flies overshadowed the ambiance. In summary, Kuya Juan Restaurant has potential, but the issue of flies needs urgent attention to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience for patrons.
