مطعم بيت الأمور - Bait Al Amoor — Restaurant in Dubai

I'm in Dubai and I'm going around trying the equivalent of what Egyptian's call كوارع or پاچة in Iraqi Paça in Turkish and today after much deliberation with the Egyptian waiter, he convinced me to have فته كوارع which comprised of way too much rice mixed with Bread with pieces of Tripe, Bone Marrow, Cartridges or Joints. I honestly know it would have been healthy had it been Iraqi, Turkish or Iranian but this was way too heavy, somewhat or occasionally tasty but all in all I wasn't impressed nor was it a WoW factor and the constant taste of Vinegar disturbed my taste buds immensely but what killed it, was halfway through my meal and I assure you I've consumed a large chunk from my Dish, the talented waiter lands a bowl of soup in front of me; to which I asked "what's this" and he tells me that's the Tripe Soup and you've never tasted no much water with floating butter and that killed it for me because the beauty of this dish originally has no oil, butter or even ghee. Hence why...

We ordered 2 dishes and a water bottle. All for dine in. We never mentioned take out during order time.

However, when the food came, it was only 1 dish and no water or other dish. 40min passed and when we asked for bill the water and other dish were also charged to us. Waiter said it is because we mentioned it is for take-away and it will come HOT from the oven.

We argued that he just FORGOT and did NOT SERVE the food at the right time. When it was hot and what my friend and I wanted to enjoy together since it’s both dishes for both of us.

When we got the other dish in the takeout box, it was very cold and we are extremely disappointed by this experience only from Barsha branch. Very very sad.

We already tried Abu Hail and loved it that’s why we wanted to try here. The service gave us such a bad experience.

Safe to say we will avoid going to...

I often visit this restaurant because I literally loved the taste of Sharwama , Koshiri , Fateer , etc..

And now I'm bringing my friends along myself. Lately Don't know why ! The captains ( who take order ) Act strangely , ( what I noticed )

They respond really late even when I call them serval times to take order They respond rude & ignorant when we ask questions about some items . Totally changes their behavior when they see us ( is it because we are indians ) not sure ?

I genuinely feel the taste is good , but I'm just telling you it will feel different when you see by your own eyes how they treat / talk, foreigners/ Own people but when it comes it indians . It's completely different.

I'm really disappointed with how the management is okay with such characters specially when we all pay the bill for...
