TLDR: Good food, slow service.
ORDERED: Unlimited Soup, Brazillian BBQ, and Iced Tea with 1 Dessert Dessert choice was Chocolate Cake FOOD: Brazillian BBQ SERVICE: Slow| ATMOSPHERE: N/A this was a Mall location next to a flashing LED from the movie theater. Unfair to weigh against the restaurant.
Arrived after a long day of running around Dubai, I wanted to drown myself in cooked meats. Ordered the 269 special, and proceeded to order a lemonade. Went to the buffet line for salad, shrimp and soup but they were out of bowls and plates. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy that day around 6pm but meh. One of the wait staff, probabably a manager saw that there were no bowls so while I was at my table waiting for meats, the brought over a salad plate and a bowl of lobster bisque.
The lobster Bisque was good, very thick and creamy, super rich! I proceed to take the salad plate to the buffet to grab some salad and shrimps. The shrimp wasn't rubbery and tasted great being dipped into the soup.
A few minutes into eating my salad, the meat carasoul started again and I drowned myself in the BBQ. The meats were great! They even had grilled shrimp, which I had to wait forever for since they kept running out. That really seemed to be the star of the show that night.
Everything was pretty solid, the only complaint I had was that the staff not serving meats were kind of slow. It took forever to get my water or lemonade, and i had to order dessert twice. Though, I guess the ordering twice and waiting was worth it, the cake was decadent and very very devilishly delicious!
Would I return? Definitely, but I'll probably try another...
Read moreDining at Texas de Brazil is not just a meal—it feels like a grand performance, a feast where every course is delivered with rhythm and care. From the very moment we sat down, the atmosphere carried us: warm, vibrant, and full of anticipation.
But what truly elevated the evening was our waiter, Ganbed. With every visit to our table, he carried not just plates and skewers, but genuine hospitality. His attentiveness never wavered; his timing was impeccable. He guided us through the experience like a conductor leading an orchestra, making sure no detail was overlooked and that every request was met with a smile.
And then, the meat. Oh, the meat. Each cut arrived like a promise fulfilled—tender lamb kissed with flame, beef so rich it melted with every bite, chicken marinated until it was poetry in itself. The skewers kept coming in waves, each more irresistible than the last, until the very idea of “enough” became a myth. Every carving was a reminder of fire, patience, and craft.
The sides and salads framed the meal like brushstrokes on a canvas, but the star of the evening was truly the churrasco: abundant, unrelenting, unforgettable.
To eat here is to be reminded that dining is not just about food—it is about experience, memory, and people. And for us, that experience was made extraordinary because of Ganbed. He deserves more than a thank you; he deserves recognition for turning a dinner into something luminous.
If you come to Texas de Brazil, come hungry. But also, come ready to be cared for, because with people like Ganbed guiding the night, you don’t just...
