Bab Al Qasba — Restaurant in Dubai

I had Iftar yesterday with a group of my friends, we were in total 7adults and 3kids, we booked in advance, however, when we reached, the table was very small, the atmosphere is disaster, they had a problem with AC, it was dropping water in our heads and when we complained, they said, it’s because people are keeping the door open and they didn’t take any action, it was very hot inside and very small, the food is disgusting with no diversity as well, they don’t have even basic things, such as, Moroccan sweets( shabakiya, briwat) nothing, they didn’t put even dates in the table or in the buffet to break the fast until we asked for it and they gave us few. On top of all that, they put only poor quantity of food which was not even enough for the people in the restaurant. The only positive thing they have, is that the staff is really friendly. First and last time in that restaurant and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, it’s really disaster comparing to the price AED 79 per person, which they don’t deserve at all and which you can spend in other Moroccan restaurants with much higher food quality and diversity. حجزت إفطار أنا ومجموعة من الأصدقاء كنا في المجموع 7 كبار و3 أطفال، اول ما وصلنا انصدمنا اول شي بالمكان صغير والطاولة صغيرة والمكان خنيق جدا، كان الماء يقطر على رؤوسنا من السقف ولما اخبرنا المطعم قالو ان ذلك يحدث بسبب المكيف لان الناس يتركون الباب مفتوحا ولم يتم اخد اي خطوة لحل المشكل، الأكل كان غير لذيذ بالمرة ولا يشبه الأكل المغربي لا في الشكل ولا المضمون زيادة على عدم التنوع في الأكل ولا يتوفر على ابسط الأشياء الضرورية في الإفطار المغربي مثل الشباكية او التمر لم يكن موجود لا على الطاولة ولا في اليوفي لكسر الصيام وعندما قلنا لهم احضرو لنا القليل من التمر، زيادة على ذلك الكميات كانت جدا قليلة لا تكفي حتى الناس المتواجدة في المطعم. حقيقة لا انصح اي احد بالذهاب لهذا المطعم ولن نعود له مرة أخرى، كانت المرة الأولى والأخيرة ولا يستحق الثمن المدفوع في الأكل بتاتا الذي هو 79 درهم للشخص الواحد، يمكن انفاق نفس السعر في مطاعم مغربية اخرى بجودة أكل عالية ومتنوعة. لا انكر ان العمال كأنو لطيفين جدا وهذا الشيء الوحيد...

We had a bad experience during iftar, the food was of very low quality, some of the wraps, msemen and baghrir we tried were rotten, with an indescribable bad taste 🤮 . The service was 0 as all the waiters were unorganized and running everywhere. This unfortunately doesn’t represent the moroccan food nor its taste. As it was a buffet the plates were empty within a few minutes and only a few tagines were changed and replenished.
