For someone who solely needs a bed, this is adequate. However even the people who live and work for the hostel tend to be noisy during the night. Beds are not much comfier than a roll mat on the floor, kitchen is not just untidy, but dirty too. Wore flip-flops in the shower due to fear of infection. Numerous signs around the tower block say that smoking is not allowed, even in the balconies due to fire risk, however we were shown to the balcony when we first arrived and told we could smoke there if we wanted. At one point, my girlfriend's charger went missing, and the next day we saw it in the bed of one of the owners whilst they were out... Tried to smile at everyone who I passed in the hostel and all I got were confused looks back - they're not naturally friendly people. No warmth to the place at all. Would not recommend

This is a cheap hostel close to the Emirates towers metro satiation and 20 minutes walk from the burj khalifa. Beds are quite comfortable, dorms have AC and lockers. They also have a kitchen area. Bottom bunk beds have curtains to give you privacy. The BED SHEETS ARE NOT CLEN and smell badly (I don’t understand why they don’t clean them). Also other guests don’t really care about others; having phone calls early in the morning (7:30am) or late at night (after 1 am) even though this isn’t the owners fault. Toilets are quite clean (except the bath tub which is filthy). If you are travelling and need a budget accommodation probably you can book this place even though is not a quite place, otherwise you can find better places in this area.

Location and price are great. The owner is nice, there's a kitchen and laundry and balcony. However, it's full of cockroaches, it stinks bad, it is not safe or secure, there's no key cards to enter the hostel so anybody can walk in - and they do, a man who wasn't a guest or staff came into my room twice while I was in there alone. The common areas are unclean and the place is also mouldy. The walls are paper thin and you hear everyone talking all night long even if in different rooms, so it's difficult to sleep. Unpleasant experience.

Heartland Hostel is a budget-friendly accommodation located in the heart of Dubai, specifically in the Marina or Downtown area, depending on its location at the time. One of the major advantages of Heartland Hostel is its central location, offering easy access to popular attractions, shopping malls, and public transport, making it a convenient option for tourists and backpackers. The hostel provides shared dormitory-style rooms, and while it’s an affordable option compared to hotels, you can expect basic amenities such as Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen, and communal bathrooms.

However, some downsides are worth noting. Cleanliness and maintenance standards can be inconsistent, with some guests complaining about the condition of the bathrooms and common areas. Privacy is limited, as you’ll likely be sharing a room with several other travelers, which can also lead to noise and disturbances. The staff’s hospitality also varies, with some visitors reporting excellent service, while others felt it could be improved. Additionally, although it's budget-friendly, it may not offer the same level of comfort or service found in higher-end hostels or hotels.

Overall, Heartland Hostel is a suitable option for travelers looking to save money and be close to key areas in Dubai, but it may not satisfy those who seek higher standards of...

Location is very nice, right next to a metro station (emirates tower) and museum if future.

1403 for men / generally charging 50 dirhams a night / Don’t book online - book one night and then connect with hotel - you should get better pricing. And if you don’t like infra you can move out as well.

Room houses ~10 people in bunk beds. Mostly are folks who stay here full time (this is also a PG 900-1100 dirhams a month).

You get a locker, towel and access to kitchen with utensils. You can cook. Bathrooms are not well maintained, always wet. (20 people using 2 / do the maths). The caretaker is a pakistani national, generally available 24 hours.

Housekeeping is not that great, generally bins are full and place is littered.

But if you are on a budget and want to live centrally next to a metro,...
