Bull & Bear DIFC — Restaurant in Dubai

The Bull and Bear Restaurant is Phenomenal because SAIF, RIKTHI, AND GRACE ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!

Saif, Rikthi, and Grace have incredibly caring, warm, helpful, and knowledgeable to my mother and I during our current stay at the Waldorf Astoria DIFC. And it meant more considering this is our first trip to Dubai.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, Saif and Rikthi were incredibly welcoming, caring, and provided invaluable insights and help. It is at a point where before I ask a question, they answer and provide even better resolutions.

There are plenty of great restaurants in Dubai, but with all of my travels across the world, I have never been so thoroughly impressed by how much Saif and Rikthi go above and beyond to help make our stay as comfortable and appreciative as possible - their level of due diligence is unparalleled. At other restaurants, a positive experience might be that the team is courteous, served your food accurately, and that is it. What separates Saif and Rikthi is they took investment in us - from understanding my allergies to my mother's preferences, to customizing meals and options, being incredibly attentive, and an invaluable mix of proactive and flexible. From us trying items we would never have tried before and enjoying them, to also investing in us like family and providing much appreciated insights for our first trip in Dubai.

Additionally I want to give a special thank you to Grace (the Manager) for personifying quality leadership with the utmost class and integrity. My mother and I were absolutely impressed with how caring and engaging she was with us. Most leaders are not this invested with their customers and their personal experiences. Then again, she was treating us like family. You could not think of a better team of empathetic knowledgeable professionals, and it starts from the leadership.

Saif, Rikthi, and Grace exemplify class, empathy, care, and understanding the importance of the customer experience. I am in awe of their level of care, compassion, ownership, knowledge, and class. It is incredibly evident to me that they are incredibly invaluable assets for the organization.

Based on this experience - I have recommended my family and contacts to visit Bull and Bear on their next stay in Dubai solely due your team's stellar quality of service. There are great customer service professionals in every organization, but I have never been so thoroughly impressed, empowered, and enlightened from customer service experiences such as these.

As someone who travels internationally frequently, my regret now is that I have not stayed in Dubai, and especially the Bull and Bear at Waldorf Astoria. But that is all changing due to Saif, Rithi, and Grace's unbelievable warmth, support, and care. My family and I are updating our upcoming travel plans to stay specifically at this property, and hopefully partner with your team again (cross-fingers)!

I hope the examples set by Saif, Rikthi, and Grace's first class quality of care, service, and help are the benchmark for all services across not only at the Bull and Bear, but for every organization - regardless...

We are Diamond Hilton members so as a result of staying at the Waldorf Astoria DIFC for 4 days/3 nights, we were able to enjoy a complimentary breakfast for two at Bull & Bear. The experience was nothing short of outstanding.

The service - the staff knew our names from the moment we said our room number and they remembered them each day we visited. They even knew our drink orders from the previous day. The staff aims to please. When my avocado toast came back a bit too toasted, they quickly modified the cooking and came back with a replacement.

The menu options and food - just superb. I enjoyed the French toast, hummus, salad of the day, avocado toast, beef bacon, chicken sausage and eggs Benedict. That French toast is something to write home about. 🥰

Dinner - We tried to dine for dinner one evening when I ended up working late and we missed our reservation off sight. We figured we could just go to Bull and Bear but they had a small gathering that prohibited dining in. We were offered the opportunity to order room service but having worked in the room for 5 hours I needed a change of scenery. We opted for the pool and the servers delivered our meal free of the service charge. We totally forgot that the pool had its own menu but the Bull and Bear experience was phenomenal - delicious pumpkin soup, prawns and hamburgers with really, really good fries. We were highly recommended to dine in-house in the future as the restaurant offers a unique presentation that we couldn’t obtain outside the venue. Our server tried his best tho and we were over the top thrilled at what he provided. However, we loved the ambiance of St. Trop, so it didn’t phase us too much. What we don’t know can’t hurt us, right. We were able to also enjoy a 25% discount on our meal as HH Diamond members too.

Covid protocols - this facility has servers managing each station providing you quick and attentive service. Social distancing is enforced.

Ambience: Very well designed interior. The flooring, tables, lights, decoration and even the curtains are very well chosen and they all creat a very elegant interior. It’s elegant yet very comfortable , specially the seats. The kitchen is half open and being able to see the energetic staff moving around to prepare the dishes makes the whole experience more wholesome .The view is magnificent and the quiet yet charming vibe of the restaurant makes the view even more enjoyable. Food: It couldn’t have been better than this. It was absolutely perfect. The timing between the dishes was just perfect. The food temperature just right. Taste was out of this world. Presentation spot on ... there was so much attention to every detail that I was amazed by all that attention. One of the best food in Dubai for sure. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️

Service: What an amazing team. Honestly this much harmony among staff is hard to come by. The lady at the entrance desk was very welcoming, polite, pleasant. The lady who was in charge of our table was so kind, charming and helpful. The manager extra attentive. After each dish was served we were asked if everything was ok and again when we were leaving the manager asked us if we were happy with the service and food. Every individual did their best to make sure everything was perfect and indeed they achieved it. The quality of service deserves 5 stars by itself. One of the most thoughtful things I saw in this place was an envelope on each table which was dedicated to the masks. This was the first time I saw any restaurant going an extra mile and having a solution for the masks. Loved the thoughtfulness and the detailed thinking.
