Update: After my morning walk today, I decided to have breakfast at Jollibee's Al Ghurair branch. I usually order the Breakfast Meal Burger Steak, which comes with garlic rice, egg (sometimes with sausage), and hot coffee. This time, I decided to try their new Egg and Turkey Ham Croissant'wich meal with hot coffee and hash browns.
I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. The sandwich and hash brown were surprisingly small – I have small hands, and both fit in one. The turkey ham was really thin, almost paper-like, though the egg was thick (but also small). It would’ve been nice if there was some mayo or ketchup to go with it. The taste itself was good, though.
Also, the staff could have been a bit more engaging. The person who served me didn’t smile, and considering it was early morning, a little more energy would’ve made a big difference. I also overheard a staff member assisting delivery guys with a somewhat condescending tone. I understand she might have been frustrated, but a more positive, respectful approach would have been better.
Overall, the experience was just okay, but I’m hopeful my next visit will be better!
old: For some reason, it's warmer inside than outside, so they might want to keep up with the air-conditioning maintenance. The food is classic Jollibee, but with a unique twist to suit the Middle Eastern palate. Their spicy fried chicken is seriously intense—it’s so spicy it upset my stomach, so now I stick to the original flavor. This Al Rigga branch is also my top choice for delivery via Smiles or Talabat, when I’m craving burger steak and spaghetti, especially when I’m feeling nostalgic for home in the...

Read moreDisappointing Experience at Jollibee Al Ghurair Date & Time: April 19, 2025 | 12:00 AM
I’m extremely disappointed with the service and food quality I experienced tonight at Jollibee Al Ghurair. This is not the level of service one would expect from a well-loved Filipino brand.
First, the attitude of your staff, particularly Mikka, was unacceptable. If you’re tired, it should never be taken out on customers. My husband was met with visible irritation and disrespect, and as if that wasn’t enough, even the food didn’t meet your usual standards.
Here are the issues we encountered: Cold, overcooked fries – Since when is it acceptable to serve well-done fries that are cold? Hotdog sandwich – The sandwich had 5–6 tiny cheese cubes. Where is the generous, melted cheese we see in your menu photos? Inappropriate behavior – I tried to be friendly and even joked with the staff, but was met with sarcasm and poor attitude in return. That was the last straw.
“Beeda ang saya?” Tonight, it felt more like “Bida ang suplada.”
The only saving grace was your manager, Mr. Chad, who was polite and understanding. I appreciate his professionalism, but unfortunately, it’s not enough to make me want to return to this branch.
NEVER AGAIN. This experience was beyond frustrating and I will make sure to share this with my fellow kababayans here in Dubai so they’re aware.
Do better,...
