I recently dined at this HuQQa restaurant, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience was marred by incredibly rude and condescending staff, particularly two female waitresses and one male waiter. It’s as if the establishment prides itself on hiring people with the most inflated egos, who seem to think their job is to belittle customers rather than serve them. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was unwelcoming. Their attitude was cold and dismissive, making it clear that our presence was more of a nuisance to them than a privilege. As for the male waiter, he was the worst of the bunch. He stood behind the bar with an air of superiority, making sarcastic comments and constantly glancing over at us as if waiting for us to “prove” we belonged in such an establishment. It felt more like we were being judged than served. To top it off, the food was overpriced for what it was — underwhelming, tasteless, and served without any effort to make it stand out. Given the absurd prices, you would expect at least a hint of professionalism or passion, but it was clear that this place relied solely on its image. The staff’s complete lack of courtesy and respect made the whole experience excruciating. I’ve dined at plenty of luxury establishments, but this was an embarrassment to the industry. I can’t think of a more insulting way to spend your money. If you’re looking for high-end service and genuine hospitality, this is not the place. Avoid it at all costs. Before you visit HuQQa Restaurant at Dubai Mall, make sure that you receive good respect when you spend your hard-earned money at that place.
