We’d heard so much about this place prior to visiting and it was somewhat surprising to find it initially appears to be nothing more than a coffee shop inside a shopping mall. However if you’re wanting a relaxing meal in a casual environment, with the best views of the fountains, with amazing service on top, you can’t go wrong coming here!
While there is indoor seating you really want to be outside on the balcony. There’s plenty of large umbrellas giving escape from the sun and the staff remove them in the early evening to maximise the views over the fountain area. We arrived in the late afternoon ahead of the first water show and despite not having a reservation were never made to feel rushed, which was a delight.
There’ a great range of food on offer, with the menu being accessed via your phone / QR code. Whether you’re looking for a full meal or something more snacky or sharing there’s good options. The volcano fries are unique, sizeable and really fun! The tiramisu dessert was presented incredibly in a plant pot and was truly delicious. Note there’s no alcoholic drinks available but there’s a wide range of mocktails offered.
The service from the staff throughout was exceptional and on top of the great food was one of the highlights. I’ll most certainly be returning and hopefully will still be able to get a table after all the recommendations I’ll be making to...
Read moreWe decided to make a reservation because the place offers a stunning view of the Dubai Fountain and had been recommended on social media… Well, once again, it turned out to be just another tourist trap.
First of all, when you make a reservation, they tell you that you must dine in order to have a table — which we were totally fine with. But when we got there, I wanted to have a salad and a starter, and was told that I couldn’t — I was required to order a main course. Why? I was having dinner. Why does it have to include a main course specifically? And why wasn’t this stated anywhere? It would make much more sense to simply have a minimum spend requirement instead. Does it really matter whether I order a salad and starter, or a starter and dessert?
In the end, I ordered a pasta dish, which turned out to be incredibly disappointing. Honestly, choosing this place means you’re paying solely for the view — you won’t get great food or even a particularly nice atmosphere. I truly believe you can find much better dining options inside the mall, with the same fountain view and a far better experience overall.
If you’re after a memorable dinner in Dubai, skip this one — the view just isn’t worth compromising...
Read moreGreat service by waiter Diaa, he was very polite, attentive, kind, friendly, had a smile on his face constantly, couldn’t do enough for you to ensure you had a pleasant experience, the food was great I wasn’t that hungry so opted for chicken salad. It was a good amount not too big of a potion not too small. I ate it all and I only have a small appetite so if you are hungry or have a big appetite maybe get something other then salad I feel like that’s just to be said were ever you go though. But it was just the perfect portion for me, I was very lucky that I came about 6:15pm and managed to get a table outside and watch the sunset, & was beautiful view of Dubai. & the water fountain show! It does get busy though so would advise to book in advance I think I was lucky that it was a table for 1 & I came early, they do have an hour and a half time frame though I think with how busy it gets. It’s spectacular views. & service and food. Definitely worth going, food is a good price too, I would say really affordable &...
