I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to @jonesthegrocer located in difc The combination of delectable food, inviting ambiance, and affordable options truly set it apart. One standout recommendation is the Salmon Ahoy, which undoubtedly features the best salmon in Dubai. The crispy skin was fried to perfection, complemented by sides of #hummus and olive salad. It was a culinary masterpiece. For her main course, Maria opted for the pasta with meatballs. The pasta had a hint of spice, and the meatballs were nothing short of amazing. They were incredibly tender and juicy, leaving a lasting impression.
To start our meal, we ordered the Caesar salad. Its flavors were well-balanced, and to my surprise, Maria even enjoyed it, devouring half of the portion. Considering she can be a picky eater like most kids these days, it was a testament to the exceptional quality of the food at Jones the Grosser. For dessert, we couldn't resist trying the Pecan Cake. Packed with pecan nuts, it struck the perfect balance of sweetness, making it an absolute delight. Additionally, we savored the Cheesecake, which stood out with its fluffy, baked texture and restrained sweetness. I particularly appreciated the restaurant's commitment to healthier options.
One notable aspect worth mentioning is the affordable dining opportunity available after 4 pm, where a generous 50% discount is offered. I cannot guarantee the duration of this offer, so it's advisable to take advantage of it promptly. It serves as a perfect solution for those seeking a late lunch or early dinner, desiring the taste of homemade, healthy food without the hassle of cooking.

Read moreMy partner and I are huge fans of Jones the Grocer. After dining in all their branches multiple times in Dubai, we praise the restaurant for their quality and taste. Unfortunately, for the 3rd time so far this year, Jones at DIFC has been extremely disappointing. Their food lack flavor, is incredibly dry, and always taste like we're given leftovers.
I had the English breakfast and could barely finish it. The sausages were as dried and wrinkly as my 90 year old grandma. Their bacon as cold and squishy, the bread was toasted unevenly, and the hash brown tasted like it was fried in oil that was used to cook something else.
I had politely mentioned my disappointment to the staff and their solution was to bribe us with black coffee. I might aswell have drenched the coffee in my food to make it less dry wouldn't I?
Extremely disappointed with the Chef, and I sure hope he/she gets training to handle customers coming in with an empty stomach at 8:30AM craving for some good Australian breakfast.
Wouldn't ever suggest going for breakfast at this branch anymore. LDC and Circle does it better and it's 2...
Read moreHorrible experience. Came for breakfast place half empty and yet we waited 25 min for salmon toast with eggs and coffee, after 25 min food came and coffee still wasnt still served. And after all this waiting the order was wrong i have asked for runny eggs and they served fully cooked so i had to ask to replace it. After we asked for bottle of water and 20 min later and 2 reminders we finaly get it. After i have ordered granola and croissant and i was never served the granola they decided to forget about it i guess. Our friends joined us a bit later for breakfast and wanted to order salmon toast and they were informed they dont have salmon anymore as it was finished. So you open at 10 am and at 12 pm you run of the salmon considering the place is half empty so at this point we decided not to continue there and we left Deffinetly...
