I am really disappointed with your service and food quality.
Today, I had lunch with my friend at your restaurant because I was very hungry. We got a seat after waiting several minutes. We ordered two beef biriyanis and fried chicken. The server told me the beef biriyani would take the same time, but he served a table of four with beef biriyani first. After 10-15 minutes, the same server told me that it would take another 20 minutes. He asked us to change the order, but we insisted on having the beef biriyani.
We eventually got the biriyani after more than 30 minutes, and by then, I was starving. The wait was ridiculous. On top of that, the biriyani was neither tasty nor of good quality. We’ve enjoyed your biriyani in the past, which is why we kept coming back, but this time, we were extremely disappointed.
Regarding the service, the guy who served the salad and pickles just threw the banana leaves on the table and smashed the pickles and salad without any care for customer comfort or their clothing. Every time I asked him about it, he did the same thing. However, I noticed that he served the same items very professionally to other tables. Can I ask you something—are both servers paid the same amount? Did we ask for any discount?
Regarding the drinking water: As per the standard practice in every restaurant, customers should be provided with basic items like a glass of water, which is typically free of charge. However, today, the server gave me hot water (I believe he took it directly from the stove), and it was so hot that we couldn't sip even a drop. Is this basic manners? If a customer has any health issues, they might need water, but providing water that hot is unacceptable. At the very least, we should be able to drink it. If you're going to charge for bottled water, it should be added to the bill, but this was not the case.
Please address issues like these, as they can lead to a loss of customers. If you provide the most delicious food, we, as customers, pay for it, and we expect value...
Read moreIf you are a die‑hard fan of authentic Malabar Dum Biryani, Mehfil Biryani in Dubai is truly the place to be. I’ve been here several times, and every visit leaves me more impressed than the last. Their chicken and beef dum biryanis have always been top‑notch, packed with traditional Kerala Malabar flavors that immediately take you back home.
On 31 July 2025, I visited again and finally tried their mutton biryani, and it was absolutely outstanding. The rice was fluffy, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, while the mutton pieces were tender, juicy, and flavorful in every bite. Along with that, I ordered the Squid Ghee Masala, which turned out to be very, very tasty – rich, buttery, and seasoned to perfection. It was the perfect side dish to complement the biryani experience.
The interior of the restaurant has also improved compared to my earlier visits. It now has a more polished and appealing look, which makes the dining experience feel much nicer. Service here is excellent – the staff are polite, attentive, and quick to serve, even when the restaurant is at full capacity.
One thing to keep in mind is that Mehfil is almost always packed. The seating is limited, and you may have to wait for a table, especially during peak lunch or dinner hours. But once you take that first bite, you’ll realize that the taste is 100% worth the wait.
Overall, Mehfil Biryani is a must‑visit spot in Dubai for anyone who loves authentic Kerala Malabar biryani and seafood dishes. From chicken, beef, and mutton dum biryani to starters like chicken fry and squid ghee masala, everything here reflects quality, tradition, and pure flavor. If you’re looking for the true taste of Malabar biryani in Dubai, this...
Read moreIf you think you’ve tasted good biryani before, think again—because Mehfil’s Soulful Chicken Biryani will completely redefine your standards.
The very moment they placed the banana leaf with side dishes and served the biriyani, the aroma hit me like a warm hug from the universe—rich, fragrant, and absolutely irresistible. One look at those perfectly long, fluffy grains of rice and I already knew this was going to be special. But the first bite? Game over.
The chicken didn’t just fall off the bone—it melted in my mouth like butter, carrying the most delicate, balanced blend of spices I’ve ever tasted. Nothing was overpowering, nothing was lacking; every single note hit perfection. The rice was cooked to absolute precision—neither too soft nor too firm—each grain coated with just the right amount of masala. And that burst of flavors? It’s like someone bottled happiness and sprinkled it on the plate.
What truly amazed me was how soulful this biryani felt. It’s not just food—it’s comfort, nostalgia, and luxury combined. Every spoonful told a story of patience, skill, and passion in the kitchen. Honestly, I have traveled and tasted biryanis from many places, but this one stands on a whole new level.
Mehfil, you’ve set a gold standard for biryani. To anyone reading this: stop scrolling, stop searching—just go to Mehfil and order the Chicken Biryani. Trust me, this is not just a meal, it’s an experience you will...
