The ambiance is chic and sophisticated, with an intimate and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, La Petite Maison's ambiance strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. The Mediterranean-inspired cuisine here is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a work of art, crafted with the freshest ingredients and a meticulous attention to detail. Whether you're a seafood lover, a carnivore, or a vegetarian, the menu offers an impressive variety to cater to every palate.
I must highlight the quality of the ingredients used in every dish. The seafood is impeccably fresh, the vegetables bursting with flavor, and the meats cooked to perfection. I highly recommend trying the Provençal tomato and basil tart for a refreshing start, followed by their signature Dover sole, which is an absolute masterpiece. And don't forget to save room for dessert – the chocolate fondant is pure indulgence!
The wine selection at La Petite Maison is equally impressive, with an extensive list of French and Mediterranean wines that perfectly complement the cuisine. The knowledgeable staff is more than happy to help you make the perfect pairing.
What truly sets La Petite Maison apart is the impeccable service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and well-versed in the menu, ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Their commitment to delivering top-notch service is evident in every aspect of your meal.
In conclusion, La Petite Maison in Dubai is a culinary gem that showcases the best of French and Mediterranean cuisine. It's the ideal destination for those seeking a memorable dining experience in a refined yet relaxed setting. While it's not the most budget-friendly option in Dubai, the quality and experience are worth every dirham. I'll be returning to savor their dishes and warm hospitality again and again.

Read moreFor those craving French cuisine, LPM is the way to go... the cocktails were divine.. I personally preferred the gin based cocktails.. the pink one is something with elderflower and delicious but the other gin one is more refreshing and goes a long way... the more exotic cocktail in the floating glass is very similar to an old fashioned... Now, for the food... The carpaccio, I would give a 3 So also the oysters.. only because I'm comparing.. The snails were an absolute 5!!!! All that buttery garlic deliciousnes.. for me, the snails were the highlight!!! So also the burrata!!! Unimaginably, the most freshest ingredients.. the basil leaves by themselves were insanely flavorful!! Foie gras... I've had this before too and I'm happy to say that this gets a 5 in my book!! Light on your taste buds and flavorful.. For the main course, we ordered the sea bass and the risotto with morel mushrooms.. Sea bass was pretty decent but the hero of that dish, for me, was the salad that it was served along with... light, delicious and delectable.. I would probably order that as a separate dish were it available... I would rather not tell you what it is and leave it as a surprise.. The risotto was impeccable.. For dessert, we had the cheesecake with Berry compote. While the Berry compote was not up to mark for me, the cheesecake itself was sublime... light, fluffy and smooth as silk. By far, one of the best I've tasted.. and I'm not even a cheesecake fan!!! The bread was something that could be worked on. The edges were so crunchy that when I took a bite of it, I had an explosion of crumbs all over (a sight to behold!!) But what really gets a 10 on 5.. yes, u read that right ... 10 on 5 is the spectacular service and staff!! Llewyn thr manager is da Bomb!!!! This is one of the few places I've been to, where the service is on point!! The food gets to you pretty fast... The next time I aim to try the calamari which was being ordered left, right a d center.. How much does the above mentioned order set you back? For 3, about 1700? With a total of 5...
Read moreHaving heard so much about LPM, my dad and I thought it'd be a good idea to start with their lunch set menu as a way to try out a little bit of everything.
For the appetisers we selected the calamari and the white bean salad with foie gras. The salad was alright, but the calamari was so disappointing. More batter than squid. I'd definitely never order it off the menu and pay full price for it if this is what I can expect to receive.
For the mains we ordered 1) the steak, which was probably the only good dish in the entire meal, and 2) the chicken with tarragon, which was a total disaster - it was flavourless, soggy, and with absolutely no redeeming qualities to it. I desperately kept trying to mop up the sauce with the chicken, but there was just zero taste. I can appreciate a subtle flavour, but this was something else.
We also ordered a side of potatos and artichokes, which is the biggest joke of a side I've ever ordered. When I asked the waitress where the artichokes were because I couldnt see them, she literally pointed out 2 tiny pieces. There was a grand total of 4 small pieces of artichoke. Just call it a side of potatoes, maybe?
This is clearly a restaurant that gets by on name, rather than on quality. The portion sizes are abysmal (which I've never written in a review before because I'm a very light eater), the service is average, and the food is something I'd never recommend to anyone. Why bother doing a lunch set if you're not going to do it well?
One positive thing: they did do a song for my dad's birthday,...
