I booked Logs & Embers for Saturday brunch for 22nd February at 1pm for my best friends birthday. This was booked 2 weeks in advance on 6th February.

I specifically requested a seat on the beach as we were planning on spending the day. This was confirmed by the restaurant, both at the time of booking and the day beforehand on the 21st.

We arrived 15 minutes early (12:45) and walked through the beach to gladly see it was empty with only a few tables occupied. When I spoke to the host at the front of the restaurant she informed me that she tried to ring me to let me know that there was no beach availability and we would have to sit inside. I said this was not acceptable but her reply was “well these people booked last week”. Despite me having a booking from before that, we both were unable to be seated, despite the many empty tables.

We waited inside because we had just paid a taxi to attend this brunch, but after 20 minutes of waiting (13:05), we still hadn’t been welcomed or asked did we want a drink.

We decided to walk out and at this stage the host became irritated & borderline angry, stating she would move a table from inside on to the beach to accommodate us and we shouldn’t leave!

Our team had the pleasure of having our corporate family brunch at Logs and Embers, and it was a truly delightful experience. Being seated outside, we were able to enjoy a panoramic view of the beach and a large sand area where both kids and adults played.

Ahmed and his team were exceptional. They warmly welcomed us upon arrival and provided attentive service throughout the brunch.
