Long's Bar — Restaurant in Dubai

I been many bars , clubs, most of the time. This time one of my friend recommended Long bar, as soon as I entered place was good, loved the music, took my first drink, took another drink, all was great so far , to be frank nothing to complain, but after some time we were standing near to counter and I kept my drink glass in the bar counter , and what I observed with in 2 minutes it was missing, so I approached one of bar tender, I just asked him by chance did you see glass here, after Looking for that, came to know some one from bar cleared it and was kept inside, still it was ok with me, I just said bar tender it’s fine, forget about it no issues, please just give me new one and I will pay for it, as m not asking in return free, bar tender gave me new drink and glass head was broken , luckily I saw it, else I could have cut my tongue, lips or could have swallowed few pieces of broken glass, i showed that to bar tender and asked him to just change it, still I did not said anything wrong or create any issues, I was very calm , bcz I know things happen! So I got another drink in new glass, and same time the bar tender started saying things , that do not keep your glass here next time I am not responsible for that, in a very rude way, I just said ok, because I really don’t want to create any issues, as I can see every one is busy and I really don’t want take his time and waste in arguing, when other customers are also waiting for their drink, so I just said ok and left from the counter, and looking for an incharge, so I meet with one guy I asked him if he is the in charge which he was not , most probably a supervisor, but he said yes he is, I explained him and even I was not finished with explaining, he started blaming me and said I think you were rude with bar tender, I was like what he is talking about, is this his hospitality, why he is working here if he can not investigate first, not to just washing hands from responsibilities or for what he is getting paid . He was so unprofessional, immature, trust me I never Saw this kind of unprofessional behavior before in my entire life. I just wanted to say to that bar tender, first of all counter in the bar are made to keep customers drinks, second i do understand m responsible for my on glass , but same time your responsibility is not to touch any glass if still there is drink, third when I showed him broken glass , there was no apology or whatever, even he was behaving that it’s my fault that y did I showed him broken glass, third I approached very wrong person, who even dosnt look professional neither from looks, nor from behavior, I forgot his name it was something from S . Believe me no one will return if this kind of experience guest will be having, A part of that loved the drinks, music its a beautiful place but only one suggestion try to keep right people to deal with customers, who know at least how to talk , Anyhow I left from there and went to Hayaat hotel, where all the staff are outstanding after being always very busy but they are always smiling, ready to help, ready to listen, But in long bar staff looks so dull, no smiles, very frustrated, or very upset. Anyway hope this will be considered as a good note and responsible people will be trained before sending them front of the customers, else you will lose only business bcz of some unprofessional staff, there are hundreds or bars and club to go, they should know this on time , before...

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an unpleasant experience I had with one of your staff members, Tamara, who recently joined Long’s Bar.

As a loyal and regular guest for almost two years, I have always enjoyed the warm atmosphere, friendly service, and respect from your team. In fact, my experience has always been so positive that my picture was even featured on Long’s Bar’s official page.

However, during my last visit, Tamara approached me in a very rude manner and accused me of “pushing people to pay my bill.” This is completely unacceptable and untrue. I have never had any such issue with any guest or staff during my time at Long’s Bar. When I asked her to show me the guest who supposedly complained, she refused. This made me feel disrespected and unfairly targeted.

I kindly request that this matter be investigated seriously, as this behavior does not reflect the excellent service I have always associated with Long’s Bar. I would appreciate it if appropriate action could be taken to ensure such incidents do not happen again.

Had a fun night out at this bar/pub with a bunch of friends, celebrating one of the girls' birthdays! 🎉 We went for the AED 69 unlimited drinks and sharing platters deal – great value! 🍻🍽️ The place has a cool classic vibe, and the live band was awesome, got everyone grooving!

Though, gotta admit, the waitstaff seemed a bit swamped – had to nudge a couple of times for our drinks and food. 😅 And our waitress might've been having an off night, not the most cheerful. But hey, we all have those days, right?

The food was a bit hit and miss, some portions were on the smaller side, and the presentation was kinda basic. We even had a little giggly chat with one waitress about missing pieces in our platter! 😄 But seriously, they could amp up the appetizing factor.

Big shoutout to the band for making us dance and sing – they even joined our celebration at our table, which was a blast! 🎶🕺 Overall, despite the quirks, we had a good time, and the birthday girl had a memorable one. Cheers to more nights...
