TangTown Chinese Restaurant 唐堂中餐厅 — Restaurant in Dubai

🧧I had a wonderful experience yesterday at this incredible MICHELIN GUIDE 2025 Chinese restaurant called Tang Town. 📍The restaurant is located in Dubai Mall M Floor Fountain Views and has both indoor and outdoor seating which offers beautiful views of Burj Khalifa. ⭐️We were welcomed very warmly by staff Julia and Lily and manager Yuki who took such good care of us throughout and made our dinner an amazing experience. 🏆We tried their Michelin Guide Brunch menu which opened us to another level of culinary delight. 🍒First of all we were served refreshing welcome fruits. 🥟Then came the wonderfully creative yummy appetizers and the Dim Sum platter which was so delicious. The food is prepared meticulously by expert Chefs. For mains we chose the 🍤Kung Pao Prawns and 🍖Pan fried Lamb chops and Fujian Style Fried Rice. I must say the King Pao Prawns were fingerlickingly delicious and the peppercorns left a sweet tantalizing flavor on my taste buds which I loved. Their Lamb chops are a must try as they are so tender and full of flavor that makes them super delish. 🍮For desserts we had their baked egg tart with sago cream and mango which was super yummy. 🥂They have a full fledged bar serving most amazing cocktails and mocktails till 1 am. I really liked their signature cocktail The Emperor and Melon Spritz both of which were wonderful. 🥁The restaurant has live entertainment and brunch from 12 pm to 4pm every Saturday. 🍽️Also they have private dining rooms seating 16, 10, 8 and 6 persons with different price ranges. Tang Town – A Flavorful Gem in Chinatown, Dubai Mall. I visited on Wednesday, September 10th. Tang Town offers a vibrant escape into the world of authentic Chinese cuisine. I visited on a midweek evening and experienced a warm ambiance and attentive service from all staff, especially Julia who was absolutely lovely and helpful.

I ordered a spread that included:

Deep Fried Chicken with Peanuts and Sichuan Chilli

Sweet and Sour Prawns

Fried Rice Chaozhou Style

Watermelon Juice

The standout dish was undoubtedly the deep fried chicken—crispy, fiery, and perfectly balanced with the crunch of peanuts and the bold kick of Sichuan chilli. It was a flavour explosion that lingered in the best way. The sweet and sour prawns were fresh and tangy, and the Chaozhou-style fried rice added a comforting, savoury base to the meal. The watermelon juice was refreshing, and to top it off, the complimentary fruit platter was a delightful surprise—fresh, juicy, and beautifully presented.

Service was smooth and welcoming, and the overall experience felt both indulgent and relaxed. I would absolutely return and recommend Tang Town to anyone craving bold Chinese flavours in a stylish setting. Reservations are required. I recently had an amazing free-flow ladies' night dining experience at Tang Town restaurant in Dubai Mall. A big thank you to Alina, who was very funny and looked after us throughout the dinner. Here are a few highlights:

Tang Tea Ni Cocktail: Highly recommend trying this unique mix cocktail with oolong tea. It’s a refreshing and innovative twist that I’ve never encountered before.

Welcome Tea: The free welcome tea is a delightful surprise. It’s made of fruit and honey, served with traditional Chinese dim sum. Very tasty and sets a great tone for the meal.

Deep-Fried Chicken: The deep-fried chicken is cut very thin, making it taste like chips. It’s incredibly crispy and delicious, reminiscent of 锅包肉. A must-try!

Singapore Stir-Fried Noodles: The Singapore stir-fried noodles offer great value for the portion size. They taste authentic, just like in Singapore, and without any overpowering spicy flavor.

Stir-Fried Lamb with Shallots: This dish is amazing! The lamb is so fresh and juicy, truly tasting like a traditional Cantonese dish. 火喉够!
