Asia Republic — Restaurant in Dubai

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Asia Republic, mainly due to the rudeness of the staff, particularly a South Asian employee.

We arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes before opening and decided to sit at one of the outdoor tables while waiting. However, he approached and told us that sitting was not allowed. I politely explained that we intended to order food as soon as they opened, but instead of accommodating us, he insisted that we stand up and only sit once the restaurant was officially open.

Feeling unwelcome, we decided to look for another restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, the other options did not offer soup, which a child in our group specifically wanted. Left with no better choice, we reluctantly returned to Asia Republic and placed our order.

This incident was truly frustrating and left a negative impression on our trip. While we enjoyed many aspects of Dubai, this was the only experience that made our visit unpleasant. One of my absolute favorite dishes in Asian Cuisine is the beloved Pad Thai. The harmonious blending of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors in this iconic thai entree never fails to transport me to bustling street markets of bangkok. The generous serving of rice noodles adorned with succulent shrimp, crisp bean sprouts, peanuts, and with a twist of egg covering to have a new experience.

We actually ordered also a Sticky Mango dessert has been a game changer for my dessert routine. This delightful mouthwatering treat has truly won me over with its unique combinations.

You must try the duck dish in the mains. And calamari as the starter, Was recommended by Dianne. I didn't know that they got nice wines until she recommended with the Duck. As I trust in her suggestions it went undoubtedly well. We just came for a quick bite just before leave the waterpark, But it ended up as full course meal plus egg tart coz our server Dianne got kind a story with each food so we didn't wanna go without trying em. Server Imali didn't forget to remind us the coffee at the end by the way.

Tips - Sit inside you won't be distracted by waterpark passing. Try Red rosso with Duck. Ask for recommendations from staff. They're more than happy to help us.
