The location is extremely decent for a gourmet level restaurant. It looks fantastic, the stations are well-placed and organised. They also have a station for their clothes and other products that they sell and you can take home. Also, you get a wrist band for your entrance.

Their menu is placed at the entrance as photos gallery that you walk through and locate your desired order and then meet someone at the end and place your order. Then s/he gives you your order that you pay for in the cashier. They don’t have a lot to offer in each section, but they sell: burgers, side dishes, desserts and hot drinks. The prices are pretty high, from first glance.

We ordered: Campfires burger: for its price, it’s pretty small. Nonetheless, I expected it to taste well since it uses Wagyu, but disappointment only followed. The beef wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Moreover, the cheese was horrible, it was the lowest quality cheese I tried, especially from a gourmet-restaurant. Moreover, the mushroom didn’t taste like mushroom, it tasted as an extra ingredient that only worsened the taste. Also, it is extremely oily; I struggled to hold the bun! (65 AED) Crispy fries: contrary to its name, it wasn’t crispy, rather, it was still somewhat frozen. Further, for its price, it barely had anything, there was barely a taste of the spice. (32 AED). Loacker Sundae: I am not sure if the chocolate below the ice cream is meant to act as a brownie or a cake, but whatever it was, it wasn’t well baked, or maybe the ingredients from the beginning do not work together to produce something delicious. The ice cream itself was fine but it was too creamy. The marshmallow on thé side is neutral, as in doesn’t worsen nor enhances the taste. The cone is somewhat good, but I doubt many will eat it. (55 AED)

The server is fine, nothing exceptionally good and nothing too bad except for the waiter that gave us 2 wipes instead of 3 when he saw we are 3... it’s a shame but whatever. Also, you will need double the wipes compared to your amount. As in our example, we were 3, but we needed 6 wipes.

All in all, it was pretty expensive for its quality and quantity. I would highly not recommend anyone to go there. Or, order one dish and share it with as many as you are. For the burger, 1 burger is enough to share between 2, if you want to try it. The dessert, 3 people and more can share 1 despite it being extremely small, but we managed and I saw another group of 3 that ordered 1, as well. Same goes for the fries, one is enough for 3 people, and actually more. One is enough for 10 people because barely anyone will eat it. You can all just « try » it.

I will like to mention how irresponsible they are. I know the weather is high on humidity, but that doesn’t mean they are free to neglect their duty in cleaning the area. The floors were extremely wet from the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out. Moreover, most of the seats and tables weren’t cleaned (needless to say that we are currently in times of COVID-19, in which hygiene is highly emphasised on). Their irresponsibly has caused a mother to slip and injure her ankle. Yes, they came to aid her, quickly, but she still...

Edit (2/11/2021): I had the chance to visit again and the difference in customer service as well as the booking system was night and day. Visitors can now walk-in, which was an issue of mine when I first visited. Once the buzzer goes off, food is delivered in 5 minutes or less. Service was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond in terms of service. The price is still too expensive, but I'm glad to see other areas of my original review addressed.

Original review: Atmosphere is great but the booking system is extremely flawed. You're unable to modify your booking without rebooking and most slots are taken. It's also difficult to book for the same day although with socially distanced tables, the restaurant is not full. It seems that the reservation is not released onto the booking system although it claims that a spot is only held for 15 minutes. Wagyu burger was great but when you factor in the fries are separate, the meal totals to ~90 dhs which is a bit ridiculous considering it is fast food and not a gourmet restaurant. Fries are average but the sundae is well worth the price. The largest damper on the night was how rude the staff was. When our buzzer went off, we handed it over to one of the staff members who proceeded to go back and forth our area for 10 minutes before we reminded him that our food was ready, who then responded curtly. When asking for Salt and Vinegar chips to go, we waited for 15 minutes and the buzzer had not gone off at all, although the food was ready at the counter. There is a huge problem with how the food service works here and unfortunately, we were not the only patrons that felt this way. It was disappointing to see...

Today I went to eat at Salt Camp in DIFC, everything looked very good. They charged me the following. 2 tiramisu coffee 1 hot chocolate 1 mac and cheese 1 potatoes with cream. and I paid 217.

When I asked for my ticket they told me that they would give it to me when I received my order.

For which they only gave me a button to call me when my order was ready.

Total then I ordered 1 single meat burger and a coke. and they charged me 105 dirhams.

They didn't give me my ticket again. Why doesn't the menu have prices? because the waiters don't tell me the prices and didn't give me a reasonable answer.

When I made my complaint they gave me the stupid response of “the prices are surprises” and that's stupid. By law the menus must show the prices.

I felt like I was robbed. I have visited Salt in Khobar Bahrain and here in Dubai and I have not had any problems. but I will not return again. It seems to me that the more the company grows, the stupider its managers and team become.

For God's sake they are beef burgers. Like 1 burger and a coke can cost 105 dirhams.

This is incredibly ridiculous.

The lack of interest in resolving a complaint gives a lot to talk about.

Don't go to this place. It's very nice yes. but they steal money from your face and do not give receipts to confirm that you are buying.

I will never return to this place. And I hope that more people realize how they are scammed with their “quality food”...

Not sure what most people calls vibe but there isn’t any mood or atmosphere being created for adults... maybe for kids, perhaps. Food is below average, forget the 65 price, the quality is just not there. Why would you put this cheep plastic cheese inside? The burger arrives cut half. Why?! It was delivered to our table quick, in fact too quick, that hints the burger was not freshly “built” and the super wet bun is the proof. As for the the ice cream, I’d say it looks good but it’s not nice. Way too sweet and doesn’t have a smooth density. Didn’t finish it nor bothered to take a photo. Wonderful colours, good setup, lots of cash spent on marketing and merchandising. Was there any initiative at all on the recycling? Promoting camping but not teaching about sustainable ways of living, protecting nature etc...?! Have a think about it why not...! Surely the marketing support could’ve cover it...
