OK so we got to the museum 3 hours early and it was rammed! Couldn't go through early due to the shear volume of visitors so it was a pleasant surprise to find this place in the museum lobby!
The menu looked pretty standard but the food was phenomenal! I opted for the salt burger and we shared fries.
The salt burger was something else! Burger sauce and pickles gave it the right level of sweet and tangy, couple with shoestring onions, this was an experience and the best burger I've had in dubai so far!
If you're hungry, go for the sliders and double up the patties. They're smaller than the salt burger but not exactly small if you get me! The OG chicken sliders were great. Good size pieces of chicken and very flavourful!
Fries were crisp and well seasoned, the mango shake wasn't to my taste but the brownie softie was crazy good! If we go again we'd try the strawberry shake!
What's amazing about this place is the service! Nehal cleaned our table prior to us sitting down, picked up our food and delivered it to the table and when I ordered the brownie softie, he did the same and cleared up our trays afterwards. For a fast food restaurant the level of service he provided the guests was excellent.
Overall, this place gets full marks and is a must do if you have time before/after...

Salt at the Museum of the Future is a really nice spot if you’re looking to pair good food with a unique setting. The atmosphere feels modern and stylish, and the staff are attentive and friendly — they definitely make you feel welcomed. The menu has some interesting options and the dishes taste great, with presentation that matches the futuristic theme of the museum.
That being said, the portions are on the smaller side, and the prices are quite steep compared to what you actually get. It’s not the kind of place you come to for a hearty meal, but more for the experience, the vibe, and to enjoy something different while visiting the museum.
Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed the visit, but the cost-to-portion ratio keeps me from giving it a full five stars. Worth trying at least once if you’re at the museum and want to make it a...
Read moreNot our first time at SALT, but first time bringing some visitors to the Museum of the Future and we thought to grab some food while there. Food met expectations and we had previously eaten at other branches, but we were surprised at how we were received at this one.
The attitude of the person who took the order (Haresh) was shockingly disrespectful. While going through the menu and asking questions, he made strange, snide remarks, took down an order item, then later told us it's out of stock. At several points he snickered and made gestures to his fellow workers that seemed to mock us. It felt strangely personal, though we do not know what we did to offend this man.
The rest of the servers were great, and the food was fresh and flavorful as always. I'm just disappointed we were treated in such a dismissive, condescending, and rude...
