We had a delightful Iftar today at the losresturant Lebanese Ramadan pop-up in the Nomad courtyard.
Initially, we attempted to RSVP throughout the day without success, but decided to take our chances and show up without a reservation, which turned out fine as it wasn't very busy.
The salad spread was exceptional, offering a true taste of Lebanon. However, the "live" station was a letdown as there was no one grilling meat, and what was available appeared cold and stale. Despite chefs being present, it wasn't clear if we could request freshly grilled meat as they were not interacting.
The main dishes and hot appetizers were delicious, particularly the battata harra.

The servers were pleasant and well-trained, particularly the gentlemen serving coffee and Moroccan tea.
Although advertised on Instagram, the live oud player and shisha were not available, and the staff seemed unaware of this.
Overall, it was a positive experience with friendly service and tasty food, but improvements are needed in ensuring the freshness of dishes and better communication regarding available amenities. Additionally, advertising should accurately reflect what's actually provided to avoid disappointment (in regards for Oud player and...

From the moment you step through the door, the staff welcomes you like family, and Georges, the general manager, is the true heart and soul of the spot. His warmth and effortless charisma keep everything running flawlessly, all while flashing a smile that lights up the room. The Caesar salad and grilled chicken? The high wooden table, where I lay out my 5,000 papers, highlighters, post-its and crazy ideas, is always alive with creativity—often complemented by spontaneous pop-ups and the beats of an energetic DJ, fueling the vibe. Honestly, I lose track of being in Dubai and feel like I'm immersed in the creative, high-energy vibe of New York. I can't recommend this place enough—it's a solid...
