The star of the experience, however, is the beautifully presented tiered tray of sweet and savory delights. The savory options include delicate finger sandwiches filled with classic and inventive combinations, such as smoked salmon and dill or truffle-infused egg salad. The scones are a highlight—freshly baked, warm, and paired with clotted cream and house-made jams.

The desserts are nothing short of a work of art, featuring intricate pastries, macarons, and cakes that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. I encountered an issue with flies while dining at a restaurant, which was surprising since the seating was indoors, not outdoors. I informed the staff, asking for a candle or any fly repellent, but instead, we were moved to another table where the problem persisted. When we asked the manager for a solution as it was difficult to enjoy our meal, he acknowledged the problem but stated that candles or repellents are not allowed. He mentioned that the issue is handled once or twice a week by a specialized team. However, when we inquired about a solution, he responded that there wasn’t one and apologized.

Considering this is a five-star, world-class hotel cafe, I found it unacceptable that no viable solution was offered, especially as it significantly affected our dining experience. After 40 minutes of waiting, we had to remind the staff about our concern, only to be told the bill was closed without our consent. While we are willing to pay, we were expecting a proper resolution to the issue. From my perspective, this place has great potential but urgently needs to address the fly problem, particularly given that the seating is indoors.

This afternoon tea at The Gallery was an absolute dream! Everything was perfect - the food, the tea selection, the service,and even the live piano music with its lovely song choices. The staff provides attentive and friendly service, making you feel truly pampered. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The finger sandwiches were particularly delicious (trust me, you'll want to finish them all!). The entire experience felt luxurious and special.

The live piano music created a wonderful atmosphere. The pianist's song choices were perfect.
