Tortilla - تورتيا - DFC — Restaurant in Dubai

I’m a regular customer at Tortilla and would not only like to review this branch, but also compliment its staff for exceptional service. Five stars all the way for the consistently good and friendly service delivery, the quality and taste of the delicious food in general, and the overall Latin ambience of this restaurant. I always feel like I’m somewhere in Latin America when I dine in at Tortilla in Dubai Festival City Mall.

It is also my great pleasure to extend this review as a compliment to Mohamad from this Tortilla branch. During my last visit, I witnessed something that really moved me. On this particular day, a lady in a wheelchair whose mobility was heavily restricted came to the restaurant all alone. Mohamad, who was standing by the entrance as the host, immediately assisted the lady and helped her find a comfortable spot in the restaurant. The lady’s ability to speak was quite slurred, but Mohamad very patiently stayed with her until he was certain what she wanted to order from the menu. When the items were served, I realized that even her mobility allowing her to eat and drink with comfort was quite restricted. Mohamad, however, sat down next to the lady, all the while having a humbly positive tone of voice and generous smile, and assisted her by holding the orange juice with the straw close to her mouth so she could drink, and also by feeding her the ice cream she wanted. I was moved by Mohamad’s kindness, patience, and overall professionalism. This might seem like something minor to many, but people like Mohamad deserves recognition, as his actions define what it is to go above and beyond in customer service. Our family finally made it back to Dubai Festival City this Sunday! After arriving just in time for lunch, we were absolutely starving and ready to find the best place to eat.

With so many options to choose from, we were lucky enough to land on Tortilla. Not only did we crave some delicious Mexican food, but my mom and cousin absolutely fell in love with it!

Food: A solid 5/5! The flavors were perfect—organic, natural, and incredibly authentic. Every bite of the burritos and the burrito bowl was bursting with taste. We couldn’t get enough!

Ambience: The vibe is warm and homey, with a beautiful wooden decor that made us feel as if we were enjoying a cozy meal right in our own living room. It’s the perfect spot to relax and savor every bite.

Service: Another 5/5 for Mohamed, the friendliest, most courteous waiter. He was respectful, kind, and full of sincerity. Kudos to the manager for hiring someone who knows how to take such great care of the customers!

Our visit to Tortilla in Festival City Mall was a delightful experience from start to finish. We sampled their tandoori chicken, asada chicken, and beef tortillas, all of which were wonderfully juicy and flavorful. Each tortilla was packed with well-seasoned meat and fresh toppings, making for a satisfying meal.

We also tried their burrito bowl, which was bursting with flavors and freshness. The combination of ingredients was well-balanced, and every bite was a delight.

The staff at Tortilla were hospitable and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. Their service was prompt and courteous, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit.
