Are you craving for Turkish Food and do not know where to go, then Sultan Baba Iskender can be the best place to choose from. They have variety of options to choose from and has brought down history of Turkish food to Dubai. Traditional methods of cooking infused with original recipe is what they have brought to us, Its more of an experience than a restaurant. There are over 30 varieties of Kebaps, apart from pitas, starters, doners, salads and desserts. Did you know the difference between Urfa Kebap and Adana Kebap is the thickness of the skewer and the amount of hot pepper that kebap contains. Urfa Kebap is less spicy and thicker than Adana kebap. Bursa style Iskender Kebap is made using a combination of minced meat and meat chunks. Iskender Kebap is a Doner Kebap but grilled with a charcoal fire, then basted with spicy tomato sauce, doused with goat’s butter and yogurt. For drinks we ordered the Fruit Cocktail and Hot Sulaimani. The juice was refreshing and the Sulaimani had pumped me up to have the rest of the amazing meal. Before getting to the main food, wanted Zayan to settle down, scrolled through the kids menu and ordered the Chicken Shish, which came in with fries, rice, ketchup and mayonnaise. He thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a huge variety in the salad & starter section, only ordered the Donerli Hummus, Donner on top of the hummus, it was really nice with the fresh pita breads that’s served on the table. I have always heard that their sandwiches are amazing, so how could I miss it, ordered the Urfa Durum, that’s Urfa Kebab Wrap. Each bite was amazing, loved it. Always enjoyed having Pita, had the Pita with minced meat and it did not turn me down. The regular size is sharable between 2 to 3 I would say. There were lots to select from Kebab section, well I went for the Adana Kebab – spicy ground lamb, charboiled on skewer, served with Burgul and onion salad. Burgul was asked for more and the kebab was so tender, loved it. Also the Tavuk Izgara – Grilled Chicken served with rice, french fries and onion salad is a definite recommendation here. Perfect marination and char – grilled, so its healthy. All the above amazing food was ended with their Special Baklava with Ice Cream. It was really good. Next step is to find a bed and sleep peacefully. 😊 Jokes apart loved the experience here, let me know which did you...

Manti- it is a Turkish Revolii was flavourful and little bit spicy what i actually liked was that each revolii seemed to be filled with minced meat and sumac and had a slight smoky yet light taste to it. It also had garlic butter and yogurt. Taste was light but flavorful and delicious.
Mixed meeze platter This salad platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, my favorite fattoush and mutebbel which was good verity of salad on a platter which seemed freshly prepared.
Iskendar kebab When I asked what's the best dish you have he said Iskender kebab. So we tried it and it was no surprise because it sure was the best I ever had! Tomato sauce and hot butter topped on thin slices of tender, juicy lamb and beef severed on freshly baked pita bread. It came with a side of fresh yogurt too. It was full of Turkish flavours and was not at all spicy yet amazing ! I Loved it!
Et Doner sandwich Which came in a freshly baked pita bread filled with salad, pickle and meat. They served it with french fries, ketchup, mayonnaise, hydeeri and salad. It was simple yet good.
Ayran It is like Turkish Laban which is like yogurt milk. Which was really yummy!
Lemonade Was actually very refreshing not at all tangy. Which I loved.
Kunafa We all love Kunafa. It was freshly came out of the oven and came with the sugary syrup. It was crispy from the outside and cheesy from the inside and topped with grounded pistachios. The combination of crispy, unsalted cheese and the sugar syrup was nothing but burst of amazing flavors in the mouth! We loved it!
