IMAGINE Show - Dubai Festival City Mall — Attraction in Dubai

Popular fountain light show in a large lake within the Festival Mall outdoor complex.

To be honest, we were looking forward to it, as were hundreds of others, but it was a bit underwhelming, just some fountains with generic Michael Jackson tracks sung by a local artist.

Glad we did it especially after dark as there is a lovely little area for small children where they can drive illuminated little cars, and also at Christmas there was a little 'train' made of glowing reindeer which deserves to be more popular.

I would come for the shopping and stay for the ferry service and lovely stroll alongside the waterfront, but not necessarily make the fountains a reason alone.

2024 update pre-christmas visit and it is absolutely heaving with people. There is an open air music festival so things have been rearranged to accommodate the 30th anniversary celebration of Festival City.

Very popular with all ages and it is very understandable as there is so much to see and do here.

This was an amazing, electric experience. The show happens every 30 mins from 7pm to 11pm and was well worth the wait in the heat and humidity. The show is fascinating, using a lot of tech to innovatively bring to life fantastic routines alongside music. The entire Dubai Festival City area where the show happens is delightful to take a late night stroll or to sit and soak in the atmosphere. There are bus and train rides available for young kids and a large shopping mall nearby to go in between shows and cool down from the heat. Highly recommended, enjoyable and memorable.
