Come across this place from reviews online, so wanted to try it out. I visited Sunday just gone and the lad that served us was great and recommended some ciders, off to a great start.

We ordered food and when the waitress brought it over to us, she was unfortunately the most miserable and unapproachable server I have encountered in many years. Didn’t ask if we needed anything so as she was walking away, we asked for some sauces, we got no acknowledgment from her. On her return we asked if she was ok as at this point we felt extremely uncomfortable, she just screwed her face up and said “yeah” and walked back in. It was nothing short of rude and abrupt.

I am sure this place is great, we enjoyed the cider and food but she is a bad apple and either needs training or to reconsider her job. We dined Sunday 24th about 1pm, she wasn’t wearing a name badge so didn’t get her name. Do better next time or try fake some kind of service to...

Was really disappointed as I had spoken to someone to book for a large party and had asked to be seated outside to which I was told wouldn’t be a problem .. we had been at another bar beforehand sat outside and really didn’t want too leave , but I had given my card details to the cider house and knew that if we didn’t arrive they would take £50 off of my card …when we arrived there we were put in a very dark seated area at the back of the building .. the sun was shining outside but it felt like it was nighttime … I spoke to someone about it and they said they were too busy and couldn’t accommodate us outside so we only had the option to sit in this dark dingy room …we didn’t enjoy the experience there and we all had one drink and left .. wouldn’t return as there are many places in bath that have lovely outside space to enjoy the...

Your door staff need to be retrained. I myself (19) went to your pub last night where I had my id taken. I was asked to show them additional ways of identification, to which I showed them numerous including a bank statement however they still took it. And I also know that from my law degree that SIA door supervisors and handlers have no further legal right of seizing identification documents than any normal person (who have no right). I would also like to add I said I would bring my passport the following day to collect it, but within 5minutes they had passed it onto the police. I go out probably 2 or 3 times a week and have done for last few years not just in bath. But that may be the most unfriendly and unqualified security team I’ve ever had...

Never thought I would love cider so much! A great selection for all tastes. Not only will they help with recommendations but will let you have a taster if need be. Pizza is next level and isn't given enough credit. For the cost and value it shouldn't be so good! Be warned they are huge pizzas, especially being square it is a lot more for 14" than a round 14". All the staff are incredibly helpful even when it is rammed in the pub. The atmosphere is perfect for most your needs. You can have a hidden hideaway feel in some parts, be right at the bar, in the crowd for a game, a scenic outdoor spot, warmed seat (yes seat warmers!) cosy outdoor evening or a big table for an event. Always clean, tidy and welcoming feel.

A real surprise! Walking in from the street you think this place is tiny when in fact it’s huge over several levels! A great range of cider and beer (and not just lager), with their own ciders too. I tried Rob & Sons and it was a lovely drop. Gorgeous colour and flavoursome without the sweetness of other ciders that are berry. The pizza was huge and delicious. Love the square trays! Perfect for sharing. The Greek salad was okay (little too much feta). There’s plenty of seating on many levels with a great view from the terrace/deck we sat at. Sport on tv if that’s your thing. Worth visiting.

Went here during National Pizza day where you get a free pitcher of their house cider with every pizza you order. Really chill vibe. Got their artichoke pizza and vegan nachos and didn’t expect the pizza to be so huge! Definitely struggled as two people trying to finish it. The taste was good, crust was bit on the dry side. The nachos were mid. Their house cider was tasty but didn’t have much alcohol content in it but nevertheless a decent drink to pair with the pizza. Definitely give this place a visit when you’re in Bath!
