Went here in a party of four for early evening meal two of us had burgers and fries and two had cod loin with chips sauces and peas, would not of been my choice of restaurant but went with the majority, food was good fish people said it was lovely,£21it should have been, told other members of party would try to be positive, but also need to be honest to your own opinion, as with most places doing fish and chips fashionable to have a miniscule pot of mushy peas, when they are about 25 pence a small tin,and burgers 1 £18 well £14 is the going rate and that is over priced,on the whole a good meal,if you like paying through your nose went back and I had marinated fish and rustic bread I have had marinated fish on Spain can't recall proper name, bread was all the same with no oils have had assorted breads elsewhere with oil and butter, the white bear weston near crewe very good

Delicious roasts, came for Sunday lunch! We didn't book a table but was seated just after 2.30pm on a Sunday. Absolutely huge Yorkshire puddings and meat that's served to your preference. Roasts came with sides (broccoli and a carrot mash), we ordered a beef and lamb shank. Portion size was great, potatoes were a little hard. Venue was decorated well and great service.

Overpriced food and drink Poor quality food worst of all. Ordered a burger and a light bite and won’t be eating there again….. £11.50 for a fish and chip sandwich…..

Heavily disappointed by the Coach/Bull, we were visiting for a drink and with the intention of having lunch, the time was 11.35, there were only 2 sets of customers other than us, a small group of older ladies and gents and a young family. Naturally we thought it was good timing and seeing as there was only 3 tables to wait we assumed service would be quick so we waited to be seated and then we waited to order some drinks. Our visit was during a heatwave and we were on our first holiday for two years so my husband wanted to order a beer, we were told he couldn't order alcohol before 12 which is fine though there was only 20 minutes to that time. We ordered our drinks (both non alcoholic) and proceeded to wait half an hour before being served the drinks, so we could of had alcohol after all! Once the drinks were put on the table we were presented with the card machine, of which no other customers were presented. Not only did we find this a little rude due to the long wait but also we felt the price didn't reflect the service, not to mention watching ASDA deliver it's goods to the kitchen and bar!!! Because of all these occurrences we decided it was best not to order lunch so we ended up having a lovely fish and chips...

Lovely drinks and tea however there was a major problem with the hospitality of the staff. I know it was a few hours after the lunch time rush, so the staff may have been tired or just more relaxed, but when we sat down they completely ignored us and they did this to other guests sitting at other tables as well. When we finally signalled that we hadn't been served yet, (despite there being five members of the staff around the bar area chatting) a waitress was quite rude about it and kind of implied it was our fault for where we decided to sit?!

The place definitely didn’t lack staff they all just lacked basic hospitality manners to costumers, I know these (young) waiting staff are probably on minimum wage and are just trying to get by but please improve your management roles and try to have a more experienced manager role to instruct and teach these young people what to do and how to be more organised in (not even busy)...
