Review of The Bold Arms, Beaumaris – A Five-Star Experience with Hanna at the Helm If you find yourself in Beaumaris and are looking for a place that combines exceptional Accommodation, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service, The Bold Arms is an absolute must-visit. But what truly elevates this pub from great to outstanding is the presence of Hanna, the manager, who has an undeniable knack for making every guest feel like family. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted not only by the cozy charm of the pub itself but by a warmth that permeates every aspect of the experience. Hanna, with her infectious energy and attention to detail, sets the tone for a visit that’s about so much more than just a meal or a drink. It's about an experience that feels both elevated and personal, where you know you’re in the hands of someone who genuinely cares about making your time at The Bold Arms unforgettable. It's clear that under her management, The Bold Arms has mastered the art of hospitality. Speaking of hospitality, Hanna’s leadership shines through in the whole team. The service is consistently friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. You can tell that the staff genuinely enjoy working here, and that comes across in the way they engage with guests. Hanna’s influence is felt in every interaction. The setting is quintessentially Beaumaris – cozy, inviting, and thoughtfully designed with a mix of modern comforts and traditional charm. In conclusion, The Bold Arms in Beaumaris is more than just a great pub – it’s a true standout because of Hanna’s leadership and the personal touch she brings to every aspect of the experience. If you're in the area, don't miss the chance to enjoy incredible food, drinks, and a level of service that will make you feel like you've discovered your new favourite spot. Whether you're a local or a visitor, you’ll find yourself returning for the exceptional atmosphere, the unforgettable hospitality, and of course, the brilliant manager who makes it all come together Our first visit but not our last found a little gem here and dog friendly too Gwen /dean and...

Stayed here for 1 night with my partner & also my Father & his wife. |The manager checked us in and showed us to our room. Cannot fault how friendly she was & also the locals in the bar… not what used to from down south ;) ha! ||I enjoyed our stay but only gave 4 stars as I feel that if my points were actioned it would really enhance the guest stay. ||- our room was immaculate however the full length mirror was pointless to use as there was a real lack of light. The floor lamp and ceiling light were too far away so a mirror light above would be great|- pillows were not hotel pillows. Unfortunately these were cheap and very limp|- the bed was large but due to the mattresses (which are your typical hotel ones which are zipped together) being too soft & maybe too old you roll into one another during the night|- bathroom was immaculate, but the shower was dreadful. |The shower head did not stay in it’s holder, the pressure was non existent both in evening & morning & the temperature would consistently switch to luke warm to scolding. ||Breakfast in the morning seemed a bit unorganised. Staff member consistently walked past us after a friendly greeting but no offer of breakfast until we asked to order. ||When breakfast came it was a good portion size (we all a had full English). |However the food was cold and served on freezing cold plates. |Sauces had to be requested twice as did some toast that was missed off. |However, this was rectified. I’d advise not to serve the toast already buttered as mine was spread far too thick. And maybe just be pre attentive re ensuring guests are fed & watered in...

We stayed for 1 night at this dog friendly bar and hotel. After having a leisurely 4 hour walk along the coast at Beaumaris - which was fab and good fun for a springer loves swimming and running. We then checked into Bold Arms about 4.30pm. It happened to be during happy hour so we decided to have a drink or two! We were served by a very friendly and cheerful barman called Malcolm. We then decided to have our tea here as well after seeing the reviews online about the food. We ordered a fish and chip meal which consisted of an enormous fish, a basket of chips, a little dish of mushy peas and tartar sauce, bread and a lovely big pot of yorkshire tea - what more could you ask for! This was prepared by Hannah (the host), it was delicious - many thanks :). Our room was generous in size with a good sized bathroom and shower. They provide you with a dog bed for your fur baby. We had a wonderful sleep on the comfy bed and it was so quiet during the night. For breakfast we opted for a bacon toasted sandwich with a big pot of tea. This was served on lovely bread and full of bacon which was delicious. We had a nice chat with Hannah and her mum before we left. They are so friendly here. Beaumaris is a lovely place to visit and made all the more enjoyable, staying at the Bold Arms. It is good value for an overnight stay and you pay separately if you choose to have a breakfast. We would...

My partner and I decided to have a mini-moon in Anglesey on a whim and we weren't disappointed. We found this little gem in Beaumaris town centre. The room was newly decorated and our host had seen to little extras for us. Access- wise, people with physical disabilities will struggle up the stairs to the bedrooms. It's an older building so they are limited in what they can do to change that situation. There is a disabled parking bay nearby but some disabled travellers would perhaps struggle to get stuff in and out of the car. Luckily I had my partner to do the donkey work 😀...I was delighted that we didn't need to get our dog bed out of the boot; our host had put a big, cosy dog bed in the room for our old furry friend. The room was immaculately clean and competitively priced. If you pay a little extra you will be provided with a hearty, delicious breakfast the next morning and there's no massive rush to be up and out by 9am. The staff were so friendly and happy to help and we hope to visit this lovely Inn very soon.

We have just returned from at great stay at The Bold Arms in Beaumaris. The rooms at The Bold have been recently refurbished to a high standard. The rooms are really comfortable with either twin or super king size beds, the decor is modern and light, and there are super tea and coffee making facilities, with lots of different teas, coffee and even Welshcakes and biscuits. Each room has it's own en-suite bathroom with shower and all the toiletries you might need for your stay. The owners are very helpful and friendly and we had a great time. There are two bars downstairs with pool tables and a lounge bar. There is also a lovely back garden area which is a nice place to chill out with a drink. We were blessed with sunny weather so spent some time out there! The Bold Arms is in the middle of Beaumaris town so handy for the castle, pier, restaurants and shops too. Thank you for a great stay and we will be back :)

What a great little find just off the Beaumaris High Street. Decor is not too fussy, but comfortable, spacious and clean. Couple of pool tables and sports screens. Beer garden is a little small, but it is in town. The beer is nice and reasonably priced. Now for the best bit... The food. Absolutely Excellent! Top quality and very well cooked .Had fish & Chips. So nice and perfectly fresh with a delicious light batter. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, especially after such an awful mess at the Midland Tapas just around the corner the previous evening. Over our week in the beautiful Beaumaris we ended up going into the Bold almost every day. As for the staff... super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend establishment 😁👍
