Tetto, on the rooftop of the Bullitt Hotel in Belfast, is a classy, contemporary, design-led bar, restaurant and garden. It specialises in fresh local seafood with an Italian accent alongside sourdough pizza and imaginative aperitivo inspired cocktails.
Resident DJs play a modern, soulful playlist: the perfect accompaniment to a delicious laid-back weekend brunch, an intimate meal for two, or sophisticated European-style cocktails.
We entered the lobby, and ascended to the fourth floor for a catch up with friends. We hadn’t booked, but we were more than happy to sit on the heated terrace and sip some rather excellent Sherry Negronis and the aptly titled “Room With A View” Highballs whilst watching the buzz of the traffic below.

The beef cheek cannelloni looked more like a weird lasagne and seemed to be about 50% melted cheese. The bits of pasta you could find were overcooked. The food was also underseasoned throughout. None of it was bad, just bland. I guess I had higher expectations based on the reviews. Service and drinks were good though and the view from their terrace is lovely.
Update: Changed the food score to a 1 as a few of us became sick within a couple of days of our visit. Avoid...
