Tetto, on the rooftop of the Bullitt Hotel in Belfast, is a classy, contemporary, design-led bar, restaurant and garden. It specialises in fresh local seafood with an Italian accent alongside sourdough pizza and imaginative aperitivo inspired cocktails.

Resident DJs play a modern, soulful playlist: the perfect accompaniment to a delicious laid-back weekend brunch, an intimate meal for two, or sophisticated European-style cocktails.

We entered the lobby, and ascended to the fourth floor for a catch up with friends. We hadn’t booked, but we were more than happy to sit on the heated terrace and sip some rather excellent Sherry Negronis and the aptly titled “Room With A View” Highballs whilst watching the buzz of the traffic below.

Our table was soon ready, and the Italian wine, served in carafes of various sizes (a nice environmentally-friendly touch we thought) was the perfect choice to complement the nibbles we had ordered; some Frito Misto Verde with smoked aubergine, Mushroom & Parmesan Bruschetta with white wine truffle cream, Mozzarella with pickled red grapes, walnut, & truffle honey, and a plate of standout Napoli-style Grilled Prawns with focaccia.

We then shared some Neapolitan Sourdough Pizza: a Classic Margherita, and a Walnut Pesto with mozzarella, chestnut mushrooms, gorgonzola & pickles. Crispy, authentic and bursting with fresh Italian flavours.

We can’t wait to return to try Tetto’s amazing Seafood Grill in the very near future. A...

I don't know if the kitchen had an off night, but the food was very disappointing. The prawn bruschetta came with one piece of bread which was doused in oil, so no crispiness whatsoever. Literally just an oil-soaked piece of bread covered in prawns without any bite to them. A mushy affair. The beef cheek cannelloni looked more like a weird lasagne and seemed to be about 50% melted cheese. The bits of pasta you could find were overcooked. The food was also underseasoned throughout. None of it was bad, just bland. I guess I had higher expectations based on the reviews. Service and drinks were good though and the view from their terrace is lovely.

Update: Changed the food score to a 1 as a few of us became sick within a couple of days of our visit. Avoid...

Hi, Food was lovely I'm only giving 3 stars 🌟 bcoz the pizza 🍕 was pretty flat hardly any cheese on it basically just crust when you bit into it I've tasted nicer in spar honestly . . The place was empty no atmosphere what so ever pretty boring to be fair and the drinks were over priced I feel . . Their was one beer on draft Estrella I had 3 pints didn't realise was £6.30 each lol I mean it's £5.50 in some of the more expensive bars in town only a better beer like peroni & others . . My girl had 2 vodkas & 2 pure oranges £7.50 each . . . On the up side the staff we're lovely very nice friendly helpful & The decor was...

Our experience at Tetto deserves more than 5 stars. We had such a wonderful and warm welcome. The atmosphere is so relaxing with wonderful colours overall. Our waitress Chloe F was such a gem. I had the angioletti cider as per her recommendation and just whao, lets just say I have a new favourite. We had the Nduja and chorizo pizza, so delicious, base thin and crunchy. For dessert again as per recommendation we had the tiramisu, another whao. Overall we really had a memorable time at Tetto. We highly recommend and will definitely be back when visiting Belfast again.

Lovely experience here, out second time to visit. Warm intimate atmosphere and perfect for a date. There was a large birthday party on the night but it didn't disturb us the restaurant is spacious. Good service, incorrect side went in on the order but the rectified immediately. Drinks were good. Would like a more expensive cocktail menu but I know they'll make anything requested if possible. Pizza was good, a little wet but delicious. Burrata starter was excellent and I appreciate the option to get 500ml of wine.
