I went there with a few friends after work on a Sunday night. We arrived at about 2145. One of my friends has been going here for about 30 years. So I trusted her judgement. And I'm so pleased I did. The service we received was wonderful. It was very prompt and they couldn't do enough for us. The food on offer was great, hot and very well priced. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Even though it was my first visit. I was made to feel like I'd been going for years. The food I had (vegetable biryani) was plentiful and it was so big I couldn't finish it. My biryani was unremarkable, as was my partner’s chicken ‘Balti’. It hadn’t been cooked in the bowl it was served in, which wasn’t hot, as a balti should be. The dishes did arrive swiftly. Prices are fairly low - many around £10 - but quality lags far behind pricier places (i.e. Akram’s) in Stirchley’s balti mile. I’d curry on further south down the Pershore Road...
