I'll start with a positive, the atmosphere was absolutely amazing, I cannot fault that.
However, me and 4 others booked the bottomless brunch with pizza for a hen do. We waited half an hour to actually be seated and when we did get seated another group of people were already on our table. We all upgraded to have bottomless cocktails at an extra £10 each on top of the £35 we had already paid. We were told there was only an option of 2 pizza choices, and were only brought 4 pizzas, so not even 1 each. We ordered our cocktails at the same time as the pizza and were offered a bottle of prosecco to get us started...this never arrived. We waited another 45 minutes with no drinks so we asked a member of staff who said she would personally bring us 2 pitchers of cocktails...about 15 minutes later they arrived but tasted just like fruit juice. We were then told we could not have our original ordered cocktails until we finished the pitchers. We ended up getting our cocktails but they were disgusting, by this time the bottomless brunch was over so would have to pay for anymore drinks. To pay £45 each for 1 cocktail and not even a whole pizza each is not acceptable. My friend has emailed them twice and messaged on Instagram and Facebook and has...
Read moreWent there Saturday, long wait for table followed by reasonable table service but repeatedly moved tables and asked to share table with strangers (breaking covid laws), then accidentally knocked over my drink whilst moving table at their request.. this resulted in security guy wanting me to leave (apparently for being drunk.. as accidents don't happen when sober and moving tables) security guy also implied I was some homeless drug addict as im quite slim and have a beard.. reality is im a local business owner and was buying rounds with a friend.. heard him telling my friend im barred as I left but that doesnt matter as I won't be returning anyway... terrible experience.. already told friends and they are shocked and won't be using that bar in future either.. as local guide on google and ill look forward to answering people's questions about if this bar is worth visiting etc. (I give all my answers based on my personal experiences)
Also going to add the state of the toilets was terrible.. a friend once told me you can judge the standard of a restaurant by the condition of its bathrooms, ive learnt this applies to bars as well especially ones...
Read moreHi I attended coyote bar on 29/06/2021,
Upon entry I told my table was given away, the lady said we were late even though the time was 18.00-20.00 for reserved tables. We arrived before kickoff so had nowhere else to go. The bouncer then began to provoke the situation, we were told to step aside and wait.
We were left waiting to then a response of " we have a table for you, you are lucky even though you have taken the piss" If it wasn't such an important game, I would've walked back out. After huge celebrations we were told to leave because we were celebrating too much. Please note I do not drink alcohol so this is all fresh on my mind. The bouncers then began to provoke the situation, talking about England getting knocked out in the next round etc
I have been coming to broad street and your bar since I was 18, I am now 30. Many years ago, I would've reacted in a different way. I have learnt that didn't get me anywhere, It's a shame that your staff members are acting in this way when I have such great memories here and love my city Birmingham.
I would like this to be brought to your attention because you will lose customers...
