Attended on Saturday. Overall the night was good we did leave to find somewhere better but because of queues everywhere else decided to go back in. The door staff were questionable .. there was some kind of altercation just up the ramp from the doorway.. instead of just taking the situation outside they decided to circle 2 heavily intoxicated lads and allow them to continue their argument which low and behold turned into one lad getting a punch in the face. 4 doormen surrounding and not one saw that coming. 4 doormen then stood talking to the victim of the punch which I didnt feel was needed or necessary considering the number of people in the club. I feel like if there is a rule of not vaping then this should be for males and females. I am a female and saw a number of other females vaping. Only the men were told to not vape. Lastly, I was slightly disappointed by the the barmaids. I ordered 2 jugs which took nearly 25 minutes to make.. the lady who served me had to go down to the cellar to get something she was first pacing up and down the back bar looking for a spirit.. she came back up after 5 minutes or so without anything. I ordered a long island jug so therefore I paid full price for a jug which only had 4 spirits in not the 5th. If this had been explained it would of been better customer service and I could of opted for an additional shot of a spirit which was available. Another note on bar staff, a lady came up to the bar to ask where the toilet was. She was then spoken to so rudely. Almost embarrassed because she didn't know where the toilet was, nor that the building had stairs OR where the stairs were. Yes being a barmaid is stressful but common curtesy and manners is not difficult. I come from a background in busy bars and nightclubs so I feel my opinion is valid in...

I washed my hands and was on my way to the dryer when he blocked my way and handed me a paper towel. I dried my hands with it and then he wouldn't let me leave until I had given him some money! I tried to get past but he physically blocked my exit from the toilet and started aggressively tapping his finger on an empty pot. I moved away and tried to exit again but he blocked my exit a second time.

I'm not a confident man and so I reluctantly decided to pay him just to be able to leave the loo. I only had a £20 note which he took and gave me £17 change, so I paid £3 for a single paper towel! I didn't use any of his sprays or anything. He was loud and aggressive, and said "piss on the floor - I'll break yer jaw!" to another toilet user.

For this reason I will not be returning to Walkabout if they allow people like that to stand in their toilet trying to abuse people into handing over cash. I understand that toilet attendants are commonplace in clubs these days but you should be able to avoid paying them if you don't want any of...
