This is a nice little independent coffee lounge situated on Colmore Row. It has a great location and relaxed atmosphere. It should be easy to get to whether you work in the City Centre or are passing by. There are good links to get here, whether by bus, train or tram and there are even side street parking spaces nearby. It's approximately a 1 minute walk from the Town Hall in Victoria Square.

The drinks and foods are reasonably priced for a place within this region. I visited here for the first time on 13/09/2016 and enjoyed a very good quality cup of Peppermint Tea for £2 and received pleasant service too. Java Lounge also does a range of snacks and sandwiches too.

There is free Wi-Fi available here for those that want to browse online or do some work. It's not a big place, but is nice and cosy and I feel it'd be good to support local independent places like this as opposed to...

A cosy spot near Birmingham town hall, for meeting up with friends, studying or just some quiet me time, I've done all three. I found the Hot drinks when served not hot enough for my liking so was told to specify at the time of ordering and came out perfect the last time I visited. Children ordered hot chocolates, the chocolate lover found it perfect and the eldest not as keen on chocolate found it too rich and only managed half. The mocha I ordered was fine after adding 3 sachets of sugar. Also ordered a lamb sheekh kebab wrap and a falafel wrap, tasted fine but a little on the pricey side. What stands out to me is the customer service and hospitality from the staff which is exceptional. Overall it was a good experience, probably 1 of my favourite coffee places...

This was my first visit and a very much a spur of the moment choice. But i found a very relaxed and welcoming cafe with Good mannered and friendly staff.

There Plenty of tables for me to choose from to be able to sit inside and enjoy a meal with free WI FI also available .The young lady serving me seemed to be training on the till, but was still helpful and polite.

A great assortment of food and drink on offer. I had a Cajun chicken panini served hot and quickly to my table. Plenty of cakes on offer with me having a very nice millionaire shortbread. But it was the Kit Kat milkshake which was a real joy, and very refreshing on such a hot day.

Overall I enjoyed my visit. Very Happy with the food, drink and service. Highly...

The lady on till was polite and efficient. Lots of menu items on chalk boards or signage were unavailable when we tried to order. (10am and they have no eggs? - go locally and buy some maybe?). Coffee was OK, but not spectacular compared to other artisans in Brum. Barista seemed to get confused over who's orders were who's once a big qué appeared. Non dairy milk choice seemed to hold up the speed of delivery of other drinks. Letters missing on frontage is your first impression as you walk up to the very nice architectural frontage. Not somewhere I'd choose to have another meeting with a colleague. Coffee shops are so much more than just 'coffee'. Truly.

This place doesn’t just serve coffee, it slaps your taste buds awake, gives them a TED Talk, and then hugs them with oat milk. Walked in needing a caffeine fix, walked out convinced I could launch a startup, run a marathon, and write a novel ...all at once. Baristas? Cooler than a Spotify algorithm. Beans? Roasted like a group chat after midnight. Vibes? Industrial chic meets "we take our coffee seriously but we’re not pretentious about it." If you're in Brum and not sipping something from Java Roastery, you’re just paying rent in the wrong part of town.
