What a disappointment… thank God for the wine that saved the day. The wine list had a good selection, though a bit on the pricey side. It would have been nice to see Jerez Sherry offered by the glass, as it’s unlikely many would opt for a whole bottle. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The ingredients seemed subpar, and the execution left much to be desired. The menu lacked authentic Spanish tapas or regional inspiration, instead offering a mix of random dishes you might find in bars across Spain. • The rock oyster was overwhelmed by vinegar and coriander, with a cold piece of chistorra awkwardly placed on top. • The chicken quarter appeared microwaved—pale, tough, and slimy. • The Canarian queso a la plancha was old and drenched in a bad attempt of a mojo picón. • The tuna was overcooked, and the accompanying tomatoes were completely unseasoned.

Glad we saved the oil from the £8 single scallop though as the pork was dry and we needed it to dip into, had to ask for some oil with flatbread as that was dry and burnt on the bottom. The toilet for some reason has a paper towel dispenser OUTSIDE the toilet door..meaning on your first loo trip you wash your hands, faff about with toilet roll, leave and notice the dispenser. So second time around, you know the drill but still after washing hands, you touch the door handle to then dry them?! And just a single door between diners and toilet. Which was possibly the most authentic part of the experience. Smol plates Big prices...

I recently visited this restaurant, which is supposed to specialize in Spanish cuisine, but it was the worst meal I've ever had. The rice was mushy and overcooked, and they served bizarre combinations like chistorra (just a few tiny pieces) with clams, which was just awful. The portion of jamón, which I have to admit was the only thing that tasted good, was embarrassingly small.
The escalivada wasn't bad, but the bread with caramelized onion and olives was also a letdown, especially considering the outrageous prices for such tiny portions and low-quality ingredients. Overall, it was a disappointing and overpriced experience. I wouldn't...
