I took my son today to go and buy him clothes I've always bought clothes there they have never been great quality but look nice and this business is always failing so our family try to help a bit however we refuse to eat their food it's always under or over cooked and flavourless yet expensive. My son (11m) was whacked across the head with a hoover by an older child and hospitalised when I previously visited so I vowed not to use the play area hiweber today I went clothes shopping and picked up quite a piles of clothes (£357) clothes a few adult bits baby bots and older children bots I really needed the toilet sp I went to the toilets before going to the toilet my son crawled off and went into the sensory room I sat on the floor in there and just sat there looking in the mirror he then crawled out and I went to head to the toilet where security came over very polite very nice, thought I was stealing clothes which I wasn't howeber I understand why things looked suspicious I let security search my bag and then they informed me I had ti pay for the my son crawling off and into the sensory room £1 for me and 3.50 for my child usually I wouldn't mind but we didn't go to play had no Intention of playing didn't go in the play area we were simply buying clothes and going to the toilet I paid for the forced play session and allowed my son to play until kids started coming in where we then left because I dint want another hospital trip my son could of been killed and still has bruis9ng by he's eye from the last time. I left the clothes I am not supporting a business so greedy who extort money from single mothers simply because their child runs away. I ised the toilet in whetherspoons and told someone what had just happened where I was told "yeah laass they are greedy I rather not eat then go there" And honestly same here. I won't be returning and will never buy their clothes sheet and toys again.
It'd extortionate to go and play but went anyway. We were hungry and food isn't cheap so ordered sweet potato fries, they were burnt flavourless beyond disgusting so I complained I was told the kitchen is closed, come another day to complain its 12 they close at 5. I asked for some salt to try and make the charcoal Edible I had yo ask 3 different people. The salt was damp and came out in a little that I had to try and break up... so we go to weatherspoons to get food upon return we play in the baby play area he's only soon to be 1 so stayed in baby no bother with toddler maybe that was my mistake? 3 girls around 8-9 were swinging on draped throwing toys running through the baby play area, completely out of control no parents around little ginger girl kicked my son on the shoulder didn't even apologise just looked then her little blonde friend was picking up the slide and swinging it, and the kids toy hoover running around swinging it I said to the girls that it was the baby play area and they were not playing very safely there are 2 babies trying ti explore one girl said "were trying to playthis kids were feral and animalistic. I should have left however I didn't I moved my son slightly and the 3 girls started taking all the toys leaving him with out a single one. I took some toys back and the girls huffed and puffed saying "were trying to build a wall" I said it must be quite difficult being babies stuck in the bodies of older children. The blonde girl carried on swinging that hoover and I picked my son up as I picked him up it went straight into my young babies face. A cross he's temple staff did nothing we losy our play session and ended up in hospital. The marks go across he's face however it's not coming out...

I am inclined to review objectively anyway and still give 4 stars on the basis that it was Monday, Boston's rest day I suppose - but my high hopes for the restaurant were dashed.
The restaurant is better laid out, looking nicer than it was before. Easily accessible for my wheelchair, too. The view through the window on this sunny summers day is pretty.
The staff are admirably welcoming and pleasant. The food was - well I wish I could say super, but it was really barely adequate. We were never given a menu, but as we walked in we had read a sign and we told the cheerful lass at the entrance who asked, that we would both like that... The cheerful lass sent us to choose a table. I'm sure they normally do give people a menu first, I don't know what came over them. My mother quite enjoyed her meal. I thought it was funny.
Fabulous things for sale, I could have spent hours browsing the shop and will most likely be back to shop and maybe test the restaurant again, because they were very pleasant. Hope I can change these comments to be more...
Read morethe shop it's self is starting to look good but the clothes could be organised better for easier browsing! the play area is great.....however the cafe upstairs is SHOCKING! ... we ordered a child's pizza and 2 loaded fries... the only brought 1 loaded fries.. my 2 year old pizza was still frozen... the bacon on the loaded fries was uncooked and still shiny.. we asked where the 2nd loaded fries was and they started to make it but we told them not to bother as we wouldn't eat them anyway due to not being cooked properly & we left.. no refund even offered for the fries we didn't even get.. we will be back to play but deffinatly...
