Klubhaus by The Bierkeller — Restaurant in Bradford

Really nice pub, with a very friendly atmosphere, staff are always very helpful and welcoming. I regularly pop in with my dog and at the weekends my 12 year old son willingly comes along too. We are always made to feel very welcome and the staff always make an effort to chat with me and say hello to my dog. My son loves to watch all of the sport on the numerous TVs and he enjoys the pool tables and darts upstairs. The staff always ask before they offer my dog a treat, although she basically demands it now. The free unlimited refills on coffee makes it very affordable for me to call in 2/3 times a week. I’m very impressed with the food, especially for my son, he has a dairy allergy, which can be difficult, but they even have dairy free (vegan) cheese! He loves the pizzas and hot dogs, we’ve tried other things but those are his favourite! There aren’t many places I feel confident to go by myself as a single mum in a wheelchair, especially with a dog and a grumpy almost teenager in tow. Not a good experience if you go to watch the football and a quiz is on at the same time! The quizmaster is awful and takes an age to ask the questions, stopping to chat to people all the time. A lot of the reviews on TripAdvisor are by young people who are inspired to write a review because of the notice at the bar that they will get a free shot for a review! The quizmaster also had a go at people who left early because of the long drawn out quiz and no chance of getting any football...

I have loved this bar ever since it opened and then I met billy and I didn't realise cocktails could taste any better than over ever tried! If you go to Klubhaus ask for billy to make you and espresso martini I don't know what he does but it's the best over ever tried and he's always so friendly and polite!
