This is true hidden gem. There are so many great thing inside. Firstly a bakery. The best bakery in Bristol so far. Sourdoughs, rosemary focaccia or overnight toast breads are just pure art of craft. And the little cakes and desserts are really awesome especially for people who like to try some unusual flavours which are keep changing (including juniper rosemary chocolate or courgette and lime). Extra points for vegan options with the same or even better taste than non-vegan. Second the restaurant. One of the best coffees, and the food is awesome. There is Nything for everyone on breakfast menu. Mind lunch options are more on the tasty while healthy side. 6 stars for me, not sure about the more carnivorous-only people. Third the shops. Quality produce or things you just cannot find in supermarkets. Wine/cider shop with emphasis on local and/or natural products. And cheese which is also more localised or less known farmer production. And lastly a huge part of why I am so impressed with this shop is the staff. Never had a problem, everyone is helpful and friendly. Even when they are busy they keep happy and perfect service. Yes, because if it uniqueness weekends are busy times, but for reason. All the staff is like well oiled machine and there to make your day better. I really hope the quality stays so I can enjoy shopping for my bread and having coffee&cake with my vegan friends in nice place. In a little cosy pocket inside of bedminster reality.

Relaxed restaurant with cafe vibes selling cakes, loaves of bread, pastries and Italian groceries. After a 20 minute wait we eagerly took our seats in the leafy dining room. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the baked cheesecake. It was absolutely amazing, with a creamy and velvety texture that melted in my mouth. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and I couldn't resist going back for seconds. Another standout dish was the kimchi toastie. The combination of the tangy kimchi and the perfectly toasted bread was a match made in heaven. The bread itself was exceptional, with a great texture and flavor that elevated the entire dish. It was evident that a lot of care and attention went into crafting this toastie. I was so impressed that I purchased a mozzarella, tomato, and basil sandwich to takeaway and again it was delicious! The only drawback was the ratatouille which had a bitter taste and was disappointing.

It was really lovely - I’m also gluten free and they did non gluten options. The food itself was so tasty, and there were various options for vegan, veggie etc… They have fresh bread and also cakes/coffee and wines too. The chef even gave me some extra hash browns because I couldn’t have the bread - that was lovely and they were stunning. However, since it’s not really safe for celiacs (as cross contamination, and I’m not) there could be gluten free bread available to make more options available. The poach eggs were great with the hash browns but unfortunately because there was no bread I just wasn’t very full at the end and it’s not the cheapest place. Worth it but I feel like gluten free bread would make it a lot better! The atmosphere was beautiful and they had charger points too. Wi-Fi worked well and toilets were clean. The staff too were so polite and lovely to get on with. Would highly recommend!

I've been here a few times and usually enjoy the vegan cake selection and their delicious sourdough crumpets, which are extremely good, as well as the pleasent atmosphere. However, I should add that the service is a little disappointing; this morning wasn't as packed as it usually is at that hour on weekends. I noticed the waitress staring at me but ignoring that I was waiting to be seated and just stood there, the other staff were busy and didn't acknowledge my presence until I went to the counter to ask where I could sit. However, the person who took my order was wonderful, and it was a perfect example of the kind of service a cafe this good should provide, since that was the only thing this local lacked despite their excellent food and atmosphere. That's why I still recommend it and will return; I just wish the service could match their food quality.

Just lovely! I was running errands in the area and decided to pop in quickly. The customer service was amazing. I originally wanted the buttermilk pancakes but didn’t have enough time as I had to be somewhere else. The waitress immediately recommended something similar and even brought me some of the syrup they put on the pancakes. The interior was beautiful. It had a very earthy decoration and was done very well. I sat by the window, there wasn’t much of a view but I loved it still. Honestly, I don’t know the name of what I had. It was some sort of croissant filled with strawberry compote but it was delicious. I will definitely be back to try their brunch menu!

Opened September 2020. This is a bustling café and bakery. Hugo's fruit and veg has now moved out, replaced with a Roman -style takeaway pizza stand. The café gets very busy and there is often a queue. They sell excellent sourdough bread - white, brown, seeded and rye. From my point of view it has become a place I can no longer visit. If you have a dog and hope to find a place for it to socialise with other dogs it will be perfect for you. Today when I visited I suggested to the waitress who served me that she should have washed her hands after petting a dog. She told me, "Everybody has their thing,". Mine is basic hygiene. I shall not be returning.
