The BEST pizza in Carlisle. For a long time I've wanted a really good pizza in Carlisle, and now look no further. The use of local ingredients was great to see, the flavours amazing and the dough just perfect. Also nice to have Jubel beer on draught and a lovely malbec recommended by the friendly staff. We sat up near the bar and were a able to see straight into the fire if the pizza oven that faces into the the restaurant. The desserts on the board were very temp too but having also enjoyed a cheeky crab bonbon (also delicious) we didn't have any room. I will without doubt be back.

We had no booking but they squeezed us in, little one in tow and the staff were lovely about it. The pricing was great, the presentation was amazing. Excellent flavour combinations and top notch food. The calamari was overdone, (although that might be a UK thing, I’ve found every seafood meal here to be over), but everything else was phenomenal.

We popped in just to see if they had seating available, we were told there was a Hour slot open and I couldn't fault the service at all. Our order was taken promptly and a drinks arrive short after the food was really quick and you could just tell how fresh the food was. The prices are what shocked me the most 10/10 for what you are paying.

My partner booked Sage & Vine for my 40th birthday celebration. We were a party of 12 however, they usually only accommodate groups of 10 but were able to squeeze two extra guests in for us. The service was impeccable. The lady managing the service that afternoon was beyond brilliant - everything was perfectly timed from arrival to departure. The food was okay but I think that was down to my personal preference - I don't have much taste for cheese, for example, I like Cheesestrings 🙈 and I'd never, ever touch anything more adventurous than cheddar or Double Gloucester, and so the cheese on the pizza wasn't to my taste but that's down to me, not the restaurant. Also, I found the fries a little too salty but I don't have any salt on any food at home so again, that's my personal preference rather than down to the restaurant - I'd just remember to ask for the fries to be served unsalted next time. The restaurant allowed my partner to bring in a birthday cake that a dear friend baked, and they were happy to serve this up for us, even going as far as serving with a birthday candle! Thank-you so much Sage & Vine for looking after us back in September and for being such...

Wife and myself popped in today for lunch whilst in Carlisle, after looking last night on internet for somewhere we hadn't tried before, with menu choices that suited us both. Staff very welcoming, and informative about menu. Had charcuterie board, bread and dips, padron peppers, lamb kleftiko, mackerel salad; wife had several porn star martini, whilst i had an IPA. All we can say is food was outstanding; best meal we have had for a long time, and we eat out a lot and try lots of different cuisines. Highly recommend and without doubt will be going back for more fabulous food, perhaps trying a wood fired pizza or two amongst...

We arrived 20 mins early, the restraint was busy but we were kindly accommodated and seated at the bar whilst we waited for a table to free up. We were recommended an Italian beer and chatted to the staff who were very friendly. When we were seated the staff were very attentive. We ordered the fish platter and Tocoma pizza. The platter arrived first and it was excellent. Cooked to perfection and delicious. When we had finished the platter they brought out our pizza and it was gorgeous. We would highly recommend anyone to visit just make sure to book in advance. Over all a...
