The food was absolutely beautiful however the service was non existent. We had to ask someone to take our mains order, drinks order and dessert order. We were given a 25min warning that our table was required to be returned whilst we were still waiting to be served our desserts. We had just put our spoons down after eating when the waiter proceeded to bring the card machine over and bill and tell us the table was needed back and we had to leave. We hadn’t even had time to finish our drinks. We asked to speak to the manager, only to be told he was the manager. When we proceeded to make a complaint that service had been slow and we had repeatedly had to ask to be served his response was “Well I don’t know why, I’ve been on the bar all night, but I’ll have a word”. No apology or empathy. We were presented with the bill and when we went to to pay, the they had added extra charges on as they had forgotten to charge for 2 of the 3 desserts, but there was no itemisation of these, so we were not confident we were being charged correctly or if this was an attempt to add a service charge on. When we refused to pay the additional charges as we had already received our bill, the waiter then tried to imply that it wasn’t their bill, like I’m in the habit of carrying a printer around with me to print false bills off.
