The good: Amazing service from the girl at the front desk who greeted us and took our order. Friendly, fun, entertaining, down to earth/human and considerate....all the more impressive given she was clearly suffering with hayfever. Takeaway special offer pricing - £5 per pizza for takeaway Nice atmosphere in the restaurant when waiting Pizza bases were light and the sourdough was tasty. The tomato tasted fresh and the cheeses were were nice too. The less good: One of the three pizzas ordered was somehow replaced with a different pizza topping (bacon and aubergine rather than fennel sausage and roasted potato which was ordered) Toppings were very sparse - when cut into 8 slices, no more than half (if that) of the slices had ham on them. All slices would have been missing one topping or another. Even the tomato was absent from many pieces of the pizza. Makes for a very awkward situation when sharing the pizza with friends as several slices were cheese only. A few extra pence spent on pizza toppings would transform the customer experience from being a poor one into a great one. Pizzas took around 30mins from ordering (walk-in) to being ready. Longer than I had expected. Pizzas were whole and not sliced. For a takeaway "Pizza in the park" special designed to be taken and eaten out the box in the park, it made it difficult not having a sliced pizza. Difficult to eat. Almost impossible to share with friends. Slicing should be standard, with the option of not slicing it if preferred by the customer (and asked by when ordering).

First time dining at Franco Manca so was excited to try out their dining experience. To start with the positives the team were lovely and attentive, the restaurant was clean and presentable, the quality of produce was excellent plus it was affordable. I selected No.9 Italian smoked beef Pizza and a house-made lemonade. The pizza toppings were delicious, the beef had a strong smoky flavour and the other ingredients were very tasty. However for a sourdough pizza the base was very dense and doughy, but with the appearance of a traditional sourdough. If this is what you’re looking for you’ll find it here. However I came in with the expectation it would be this light crispy traditional sourdough. The lemonade was simple, citrusy and refreshing, however it could be elevated with some herb elements. The loyalty system/app needs some improvement to iron out the bugs. Got it working but it was tedious. Overall good experience and value. Would probably give the sides and salads a go next time.

We where really looking forward to our pizzas at Franco manca. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. The music was very loud meaning people have to raise their voices to compensate creating a loud and jarring atmosphere. Having Asperger's I found it quite triggering. And couldn't relax. The food took a while to come we where giving out sauces a good 15 minutes before our starters came out. It does seem that delivery is given priority meaning the cooking team is constantly rushing to get food out and attention to detail is the missed. The pizzas unfortunately where soggy and the garnish in both the drinks and on top of the pizzas where wilted and had dark spots. We decided not to say anything as we where both just really hungry and wanted to eat something. The staff where attentive and friendly so shout out to them.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Franco Manca in Cheltenham, and I must say that the experience was excellent. The restaurant itself had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, which made for a comfortable meal.

Now, let's talk about the food. The pizza at Franco Manca was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the simplicity of their ingredients, which allowed the quality of each component to shine through.

But what really stood out during my visit was the service provided by Adam, the manager of Franco Manca Cheltenham. He was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that all guests were well taken care of. He went above and beyond to make sure that our dining experience was enjoyable and memorable.

Overall, I highly recommend Franco Manca in Cheltenham. The food is outstanding, and the service, especially from Adam, is top-notch. Whether you're a pizza lover or just looking for a great restaurant experience, Franco Manca is definitely...
