Number 85 Coffee & Kitchen — Restaurant in Cheltenham

Number 85 is a hidden gem! While it may be off the beaten track a little, it’s definitely worth the venture. Run by Steph and Miles, the coffee is the best Cheltenham has to offer and the food is always top quality. They work hard to make what they do ‘a bit special’ and the menu is always evolving. From their everyday menu to the specialty dinner evenings they run, you are in for a culinary treat.

I’m sorry to give such a low score review as it is clearly a favourite for many but the cappuccino was so hot it burnt my mouth and despite waiting for it to cool for a further 15 minutes it was still unbearably hot. I can see that this place uses good quality beans but sadly the temperature of the machine is set too high, which ruins it. We also had breakfast - my sausage sandwich was pretty tasty. My husband had scrambled eggs on toast but the plate wasn’t warmed so his food went cold very quickly. I’m sure if these little but important things were rectified I’d be up for giving it a much better review...

We absolutely love Number 85. It is our regular stop on Saturday mornings for breakfast and delicious coffee.

Welcomed with a friendly smile and laughs, Steph and Miles make the most delicious cakes and food.

We have also ordered birthday cakes for our daughter which have never disappointed. We are asked for a theme/colour and flavours and these are brought together beautifully.
