Oliver's Bar, Cheltenham — Restaurant in Cheltenham

Went for lunch today after reading the flat bread choices. There was only one other person sat in, eating a cake. We ordered a wild mushroom flat bread and chicken and avocado flat bread. They were served to the table in cardboard boxes?! For us to then take out and put onto plates.

We couldn't eat either. Both were big thick doughy flat breads with a strange taste. The mushrooms I believe we're tinned, they were absolutely vile! Unedible actually so I left it. The chicken was also strange tasting and they had grilled the mashed avocado...this was left too.

We now know why the place was empty and won't be returning again. There are so many lovely places to eat in Cheltenham, this is not...

I booked AqueVita for my daughters 18th Birthday Party. The staff at AquaVita were fantastic at making all the arrangments. Paul and Beth went out of their way to make sure they understood what we wanted. We had a fantastic night, special thanks to the doorman who was relaxed but kept an eye on things and also the best DJ I have met for a long time. We will be booking him again. The bar staff who were friendly and seemed to join in the fun. The location is perfect with space outside for those who want to take a break...
