Fantastic pub. Stumbled upon it with the link to the carpark walking into the most hospitable beer garden. Welcomed in with friendly hosts, and enjoyed a quick half and a little chatter. excellent beer garden. Great ales, drinks. Great first experience into a great birthday evening in Cheltenham. A definite first stop next time we are back!

Wow! We visited for afternoon tea, however it was more of an afternoon feast! It was so beautifully presented on mini picnic benches. And all tasted delicious! The staff were fantastic, especially working in 30 degree heat! I Will be recommending to everyone! Thank you so much the Bayshill Inn team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

New management. Breath of fresh air. Ales dont taste like utter sewage water, you can tell they are cleaned correctly, New menu, pizza was delicious, pepperoni with hot honey, garlic bread with cheese was good aswell. All round a better venue with the new team. They care.

My partner and I were really looking forward to having meal here. But was let down with incorrect information and poor use of following covid guidelines. We were walking by and asked a staff member if they were serving food on Sunday evening, we were told yes and didn't need to book a table. To only come back the Sunday evening. Been seated. To only find out that the kitchen was close (6pm) and could only order drinks, which the waitress forgot what was ordered in the space of 2secs, like she wasn't paying attention. The burger van was mentioned, but we were under the impression that pub food was been served, if we wanted to have a burger we would of gone to a chippy. Plus she wasn't wearing her mask properly (undernose/on chin).

We almost walked away but felt we should at least sit for a drink. Which we got our drinks quickly.

What we didn't like was the lack of procedure being followed. There were people walking in and out, without mask and was acting like there wasn't a pandemic. Finding it hard to believe that 40+ people were exempt.

Which was a shame because the ladies were lovely but just let down by these points.

...... Thanks for the reply.

We were sat just inside the door and had good view of people walking in and out of building and can assure you only one or two people were actually wearing their mask, correctly. Others holding theirs in their hand or just sitting on their chin. I understand some will be exempt but the staffs that were wearing their mask, weren't even wearing them correctly. Maybe we should of taken...

My daughter, came to visit me in Cheltenham, on Sunday, decided to go for Sunday lunch,we tried the bayshill, big mistake!! Admittedly we HAD NOT booked,so was prepared to be turned away( fine) waited 10 mins with no member of staff behind bar( okay busy) very young bartender "if you would like to come back in 10 mins we will see ,if we can get you in" myself and daughter decided to buy drinks and wait,10 mins elapsed, went to bar spoke to young bar person ,who clearly was on her own,on one of the busiest days of week!!( says it all) young girl says " that's OK,"points us to a table,I go up to order, only to be told THEN"wait so sorry, we have had more bookings not possible now!! I left with daughter furious ,bad management, under trained, member of staff lack of staff,WHY!! will definitely WILL NOT ever go back, seems a nice venue but Sunday, no staff!! We decided to go to TAILORS IN CAMBRAY 8 members of staff on shift amazing Sunday lunch the best ever!!. I gave the 1 review because of the garden venue where lots of children were enjoying there...

We've just had our wedding reception at the Bayshill. We had booked the venue with the previous landlords so we were worried that the new owners wouldn't be able to deliver what we had been originally promised. We shouldn't have worried. The whole team went above and beyond to make this day a very special occasion indeed. The decoration, the super professional and friendly staff, the food, the atmosphere... Everything was perfect and better than what we had imagined and anticipated. A massive thank you to all, and in particular Emily, Richard and Jade who, from the very start, made everything easy for us at what could have been a stressful time. We are very grateful for the wonderful memories. We couldn't recommend the "new" Bayshill highly enough. JUST...
