Could do better. Staff are great. Friendly and approachable. But perhaps understaffed/ and or under managed but some of the behaviour of groups of presumably students on a week night were out of line, with ice being thrown, glasses smashed, seemingly nobody seemed to do anything.

Big enough to ignore and get away from unsavoury people/behaviour but would be worthwhile having some staff in who dont mind getting involved when customers are disrespecting where they are in a public setting. Had they been out on the street- behaviours would definitely have been deemed unacceptable.

Drinks are cheap so is the food and never had problems with the food being well cooked and fresh.

Food good and cheap but the staff are the most miserable people you can meet if they don’t want to be there get a job where you don’t have to speak to people. Wetherspoons think there being clever when you ask for a pint of coke they bin told to fill the pint with ice if you take the ice out its only a quarter of a pint of coke and the ice make it look like you got pint of coke so ask for no ice because your paying for pint of water really and if you watch them pour it your see its water and a little bit of coke coming out the pump then they fill it with ice just trying to save people of getting ripped off and they got a big area at the back for smokers but everybody smokes out the front so if you don’t smoke you gotta breathe people smoking before you even get...

A fairly large and welcoming Wetherspoons which was busy when we arrived. Duly ordered drinks and food from the table and sat waiting for them to arrive. It was only at this point a large screen was rolled down from the ceiling, the TV was switched over to women's rugby, and things became a tad unbearable - the sound was so loud! Luckily this meant a few people left as no one seemed particularly interested in watching it anyway. Luckily the food arrived, and we quickly relocated to a quieter area to enjoy the meal.
