My partner and I visited here separately over the past few months. We were both over charged for food by the owner on separate occasions. I witnessed the owner direct an employee to overcharge me as the employee rang my order up on the till. Although I had been drinking and the shop was busy I was still aware of what was happening. My partner explained to me that he was overcharged a lot and had to correct the owner before making payment. I think the owner assumed we would be too drunk to notice this.
Last night we visited together and were correctly charged on this occasion. Perhaps because we hadn’t been drinking. As we were in the shop a gentleman entered and stated to the owner that he is a care worker for a mentally disabled client who had just been in and was charged £27 for a portion of doner meat. The owner was clearly shaken from being called out but did not deny charging a disabled man £27 for doner meat. The owner simply told the carer to call the police and thereafter refused to speak to him. I will also add that the carer spoke to the owner with courtesy and respect but the owner didn’t want to listen to what he had to say. I don’t think it was a coincidence that we witnessed this following my partner and I both being over charged previously.
I can only advise people to avoid this business but if you are inclined to visit then get a receipt with your food and be aware of the price and what you are...

I went here on new years day this year. very good quality fish and chips followed up by my first experience of the deep fried mars bar with ice cream. I have to admit i was sceptical of the idea but figured it was something I had to try atleast once and I have to say i was pleasantly surprised.
The staff were freindly and in good spirits for near as damn it midninght on January 1st.
As well as the usual club posters and flyers the walls are covered with pictures of groups of customers visiting as part of their nights out which seemed to give the place a good vibe and made me...
