Awful restaurant, and this is a Spaniard telling you 1-family run restaurant-not true apparently the couple left to Spain 2-dirty and badly run, I asked for a salad and it was fully embedded in oil and cut as if I was a turtle. No vinegar or olive oil concept, no TLC for the food 3-I made a complaint and decided to play British as my Irish fiancée was getting uncomfortable. The croquetas were burnt but I said yes were fine....the pan was tomate was so low quality, not even bothered with that. The prawns were badly cooked and there were approximately 4?..... 4-the answers to my complaints were that all the staff was Spanish, well so what?? Spain does have bad restaurants too, that does not mean anything. It seemed to me that a group of students with no knowledge to cook was running the restaurant.

When I was leaving I thought maybe I am too harsh, but I noticed a mop in the middle of the restaurant and my shoe hit something, a spoon. So no, I wasn't too harsh. After this we said we will never go to a Spanish restaurant abroad. But please save your money and time,...

The food here is great. A really good mix of vegeterian options. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. It has a nice vibe too.

The service could be better though. Once seated, two different waiters came to us three times over the space of 10 minutes to ask if we were ready to order. Even though it was quite obvious we were still deciding what we wanted, and we had to keep telling them we weren't ready.

Later on in the evening, the same woman kept coming to our table as we were finishing our dishes to take stuff from our table. There were two occasions where she came and we said we hadn't finished. Yet both times she took a dish anyway which we were still eating. This was really surprising especially after saying we weren't done and she just grabbed it quickly and left both times before we could say anything.

So overall, our experience was effected by just too much of a sense of rush from the staff. They just need to chill a bit more and let customers take their time

Would go back but hope this doesn't happen...

Fantastic place to get authentic Spanish tapas. The restaurant is well set out with plenty of space between the tables. Although we had booked for a specific time, the server gave us our table earlier than booked. The menu wasn't the largest tapas menu we have had (compared to other larger tapas restaurants we had visited in Edinburgh), but there was still plenty to choose from. We had bread with olive oil and a vinegaret along with grated tomatoes as a starter. Our mains were meatballs, black pudding, patatas bravas, croquettes, chorizo, and potatoes, and to follow, we had churros with chocolate. All the food that was served was really tasty and all were finished off, clean plates all round. The churros were the best I've had. They were delicious. The server was polite, prompt, and well presented. He recommended a very nice drink for us to try, which was delicious. It was called Pacharáw Navarro by Zoco. It has a nice delicate aniseed taste to it, served with a dash of lemonade and ice. The toilets, downstairs, were...

I had always walked past here but had never gone in. We went on Friday night and it was a nice level of busy. There was 4 of us and we ordered around 12 tapas as in a lot of other places we’d get three each however our server recommended we should get 8-10 for four people. I think it would be helpful to have this on the menu as a guide as a lot of other places do this. We still ordered the 12 as we wanted to try lots of the dishes. There was a good mix of meat, fish and vegetable dishes. My favourites were the ham croquettes, the spanish tortilla and the patatas aioli. However we also had the chicken thigh, calamari, black pudding, patatas bravas, padron peppers amongst a few other dishes. The food was really good and quite reasonable as tapas can be expensive. I have given it a four as I have had tapas in other places that I have enjoyed more but it was a lovely meal out.
